The Exped Downmat 7LW sleeping mat offers outstanding levels of warmth and comfort, and the small pack size makes it ideal for all-season trekking.
700 fill power goosedown is contained within TPU laminated polyester chambers that are hydrolysis resistant and create a lightweight mat with unsurpassed insulation and support. One other thing that made me choose this is these mats are made without using toxic fire retardant.

Hi, does Exped or any other brand do a wide (60-65cm) regular length insulated light weight mat suitable for hiking? Preferably 6-8cm thick out thereabouts. Thanks!

G'day Sam,
Yes, the Exped Downmat 7LW (the product you've asked this question on) fulfils all of those requirements, as does the 9LW version and the Synmat 7LW and 9LW versions.

Hi Leece, I want a wide, regular length mat, not a long wide one! Is there anything available like this?

Hi Sam,
Exped makes all sorts of mat sizes, and the Megamat looks to come in a Medium Wide, but we only bring the Long Wide version into Australia as our market tends to prefer the larger mats. The more we bring in of a single size the better we can make our pricing too.
Whilst Exped has a big range, only a small portion of their products are here in Australia, unfortunately.
