G'day Jesz,

Its best not to put insulated drinkware in the dishwasher, as the super high heat on the drying cycle can compromise the vacuum seal, which essentially voids the insulative layer.
You can chuck these in the dishwasher for the wash cycle and pull them out, or if you have an eco setting or similar which skips the drying cycle, you should be fine.

Not sure if i can see a slide or button so the lid closes or is there a space for drinking that remains open?
