Is there a compatible frame sold separately for the double burner? Like the ones designed for the triple and quad burners?
Ryan - 5355(4 years ago)
G'day Ryan,
No, there aren't any frames separately available for the Double Ring Burner. The pot supports for this model are molded into the casting for the unit.

Lookingb for a low heat gas burner to use with a cast iron camp oven. can I get the heat low enough?1 answer
Have tried other single gas buners but with no success
Bob - Randwick(5 years ago)
Good question, Bob, and not one I can answer with 100% confidence as I have not used it as such. Going by previous customer feedback though, I think either this or the triple ring burner option is a good option for use with camp ovens, for a few reasons.
Firstly, the heat is spread wider than with just a single burner stove, so you can have the heat turned down but still spread evenly. Secondly, going by feedback, high and low settings are pretty good. The triple ring burner, for example, gives you the option of turning the gas up and down, as well as controlling how many rings you have burning at once, so once things are warm, you can just leave the small inner ring on to keep it warm, or turn just the outer ring on for a rolling simmer.
Long story short, I think either the double or triple ring burners will be fine for what you are seeking.

Do you need something under this to protect the bench /table from the heat?1 answer
We have an aluminium table or a plastic moulded table and are concerned about the transferred or radiant heat. Do you need something under it?
Peter - Highton(8 years ago)
Hi Peter, I’ve had a chat to or stove and burner experts down stairs and they wouldn’t recommend using the Companion Double Ring Burner on a plastic table. They have said that an aluminium table would be fine for use with this burner. If you are concerned about the table getting a little warm then use an old wooden chopping board or piece of timber underneath to raise if off the table.
