The Outdoor Connection Double Outhouse provides separate shelter for both toilet and shower, all in the one package.

Its best feature is a “Dryzone” on the shower side that creates a dry area for clothes behind a zippered plastic sheet. A sturdy steel and fibreglass frame creates a very strong and roomy structure when pegged out in full.

A PE floor keeps sand and dirt out, the toilet roll holder is waterproof, 2 mesh pockets keep soap and shampoo in place and a zippered inlet is provided for power. Adequately ventilated through windows and a mesh top, the Outdoor Connection Outhouse is a deluxe en-suite in your campsite.

The Outdoor Connection Double Outhouse Toilet Shower Tent comes with 2 equal sized rooms. Each of those rooms has a floor space of about 120 x 120 cm.

G'day Sarah,

The Outdoor Connection Double Outhouse Toilet Shower Tent is designed for privacy and not so much for weight bearing. It wouldn't be able to stay standing if you hung your solar bag from it. The best bet is to either hang it from a tree or have a stand to hang it from and then feet it through the slot in the tent to have your shower.

It's pretty good Ann, the white lining is quite opaque and you would only see a recognizable silhouette if you stood right behind it with a very bright spotlight. They are designed to offer privacy.

It's easier with two people Cath, but perfectly do-able with one. The first time will be the hardest until you get the hang of where everything goes, from there-on you'll work out a method that suits you.

Door Zips2 answers

Hi Are the door zips one zip that go all the way from top to bottom, or is one straight across the bottom and the second zip go from the top left down to the bottom right corner.

Hi Ilija, the floors are attached with plastic clips in the corners, this leaves a gap around the edge so water can run out. I don't think you would want to seal the floors to the walls, especially on the shower side, otherwise you will end up standing in a pool of water, and it would be hard to clean out.

How easy is it to clean?1 answer

Can you clean off soap scum and such using a pressure cleaner (when you get back home of course) and can the floor be removed and washed in a machine?

I probably wouldn't use a pressure cleaner Peter, damage would be likely to occur to the fabric. I would recommend regular cleaning with warm soapy water and a rinse with the garden hose. As for the floor, it's a polyethylene or tarp type material which probably won't go so well in the washing machine. Once again, a bucket of warm soapy water and the hose should be enough.

Hi Josh, I've learnt something new today, there is a zippered door between the rooms on this product! The Outdoor Connection Outhouse tents are a popular choice in this category, they have a sturdy frame when pitched in full, and the door between the two rooms on the Double Outhouse just makes it even more versatile.
