Secured on the corner of a shelter, this guy rope features two 3.5 metre lengths of 6mm cord with a convenient loop in the middle for quick attachment over a pole spigot. The two lengths allow you to secure the shelter with two ground anchors on each corner for the ultimate in bad weather stability.
Each 3.5 metre length features a Supa Peg Universal Rope Runner and a lightweight trace spring that allows the shelter to move a little with the wind as well as allow for any stretch or shrinking of fabric that occurs as it wets and dries out, the result is a taught shelter for as long as it is set up.
Every camper who is a master at creating custom camp shelters from poles and tarpaulins needs a few of these in their camp kit.
Can the light trace spring be used with Supa Peg 300mm Sand Pegs?

G'day Greg,
Yes you can use the 300mm Supa Peg Sand Pegs with the Light Trace Springs. We'd recommend using the hook on the peg to attach the spring loop.

Is this a 2 pack?1 answer
Just enquiring as the description is a bit unclear... is this a 2 pack of guy ropes? I need about 12 to replace the guy ropes on my tent, and would prefer the spring loaded type shown here so I'm trying to find the most cost effective solution. Cheers.

G'day Nathan,
The Double Rope & Light Trace Springs have a single attachment loop at the top to go around your spigot, and then two springs for pegging into the ground. These are a great option for corners where you want to spread out the tension. We also sell the same weight rope and spring individually (with just a single attachment at the top and bottom), which you can find here.

Is the trace spring galvanized?1 answer
Zinc plated, stainless or galvanised?
Heath - Baulkham Hills(6 years ago)
G'day Heath,
All the Supapeg spring traces are made from a galvanised, hi-tensile steel.
