Compact in the car, comfortable and supportive in the tent, the Black Wolf Deluxe Self Inflating Mat is the most compact in the Deluxe Mat range from Black Wolf, offering a great balance between limited vehicle space, and a comfortable night of sleep.
The self-inflating design means you can put your rolled mat and the high flow reversible valves do all the work for you. For those who sleep comfortably on a firmer surface, attach the included storage sack to a valve and use it as a pump to add a little extra air.
A soft denim look stretch polycotton upper fabric and a non-slip base is laminated to antifungal CFC free foam, and Velcro strips run down each side enabling you to join two mats together. Complete with a repair kit, you can rest peacefully in the outdoors on a Black Wolf Deluxe Mat.
I'd like to use this for camping by the car, but also for a few day hikes.

G'day Al,
In theory, you can use anything for hiking if you're willing to carry it! This mat is quite large and heavy, so whilst you can carry it with you, it wouldnt be ideal. Check our our range of hiking mats HERE

size1 answer
Is 194 x 64 cm the actual size of the inflated sleeping pad or of the mat laid out before inflation. Regards Len.

G'day Leonard,
I've just double checked the dimensions of the Black Wolf Deluxe Camping Mat with the display model in store. The external dimensions listed on the product page are accurate to when the sleeping mat is inflated- 193cm in length x 64cm in width.

To go on oztrail easy fold stretcher1 answer
Hi, I bought 3 oztrail easy fold stretchers and want self inflating Mays to go on top. The BW deluxe at the price you have it seems a really good option. Or is a cheaper mat just as good as the stretcher provides enough comfort? btw. Using in hot humid Qld so warmth isn’t really important.

G'day Cavel,
I'd say the Balck Wolf Deluxe Camp Mat is a good option. They'll fit really nicely on top of the stretchers, definitely improve the comfort and for use in warmer weather, they have a really nice stretch fabric that's soft to touch. I'd also add on the Black Wolf Fitted Sheets, they're great in hotter conditions were you tend to end up sleeping directly on the mat instead of inside your sleeping bag.

Colour1 answer
Hello,
We have seen this in green and would like that colour over the blue shown here, so do you have green as well?
Thanks,
A long time and very satisfied Snowy's customer!

G'day Mark,
Unfortunately, while we'd love to offer you a green Black Wolf Deluxe Camp Mat, the colour now represents the old model which we no longer have stock for. The blue mat is the current model with the major upgrade being an improved valve. Sorry!
