If your gazebo is a little too breezy, you need some extra undercover space, or you want to keep the mozzies at bay – the OZtrail Deluxe 2 Zip Solid Doorway Wall will do it all in one complete package.
Keep it zipped up for privacy and weather protection, unzip the solid to allow airflow and insect protection with just the mesh exposed, or peg out the solid panel with additional poles as an awning to provide some extra shelter. The UVtex treated fabric provides protection from the harsh sun and rain, and the No-See-Um mesh will help to ventilate your shelter.
This wall has Velcro patches on the top edge that attach to the inside of the canopy, steel hooks in the top corners of the wall that link to eyelets on the gazebo frame, webbing loops at the bottom to peg it out, and ties on the edge to attach to the legs for a very secure set up. For a gazebo wall that’ll provide you with the whole kit and caboodle, the Deluxe 2 Zip Solid Doorway is a no-brainer choice.
Hello, would this be able to sit in front of the inner gazebo tent to act as an awning?
G'day Andrew,
No, it wouldn't for a few reasons. The attachment point for the tent inner and the walls are the same, so some of the anchor points like velcro, etc cant be used by more than one accessory. The doorways of the inner also won't practically be compatible for this wall.
If you are wanting an awning off the side of your gazebo, we'd recommend the awning kit.
Otherwise, you may be able to rig up a DIY solution with a tarp.
Just wondering if this fits on any 3x3 m gazebo? I have the Coleman heat shield 3x3
G'day Thai,
You will probably be able to make it work, but we haven't personally tried it & can't specifically confirm.
The Oztrail walls attach via two small metal hooks on the corners, two small squares of velcro, and a central strap.
Hope that helps.
Hi, I have the Supa peg adjustable poles from you guys, just wondering if the eyelet to extend the door to an awning will fit the Supapeg poles?
G'day Niomi,
Yes, they will fit. The largest Supapeg spigot we carry in 8mm, and the eyelets on the Oztrail wall are 9mm.
Hey guys, just wondering why these walls are turning yellow? Is that normal after exposure to the sun/heat?
G'day Rose,
It happens occasionally due to sunlight or chemical damage - it is not all that common but if you leave a gazebo wall up for very long periods of time in the sun it will degrade, and sometimes will yellow. It is accelerated by exposure to heat, especially in humid surroundings, and can happen even in storage if left in a high heat area such as a hot shed in full sun.
It's not a warranty issue or fault, more so circumstantial.
I noticed you can't velcro the walls to poles when they are zipped together. Is the idea to zip together on the outside of poles and is that just to keep them taut? Thanks
G'day Julie,
Yes, the idea is to zip the walls together on the outside of the pole.
What are the dimensions of the mesh section please?
G'day Emma,
Thanks for your question! I have checked out our floor stock and the mesh section measures 2.4 x 2.5 metres. I hope this helped!
Planning to buy oztrail gazebo 4.5m Does this one fit in? Please let me know Thanks
G'day Iris,
The Oztrail Deluxe 3M 2-Zip door wall is only compatible with 3 metre gazebos sorry!
Unfortunately there isn't a comparable version for use with the 4.5m gazebo.
Gazebo 4.5m and 3m are same wide Are you sure they doesn't fit on? I would like to buy two of this and put on both side
G'day again Iris,
My apologies! I misread your original question in terms of the 4.5m side.
Yes, you are correct that these are compatible with the 3m ends of the gazebo only.
Is this made of the same material as the OZtrail Gazebo Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 Awning? I am looking for a gazebo awning to put our swag under. I like mesh wall included with this - but will the Monsoon Rainfly provide better protection from rain? Which would you recommend between the two awning options?
G'day Greg,
Unfortunately Oztrail doesn't specify a waterhead rating on these. They are both made from Polyester with the Monsoon Fly having added UVTex coating to protect you from UV and help create a water-resistant barrier. I think the Monsoon Rainfly might be a more suitable option for your requirements.
How far out from the gazebo does the awning extend? How would this hold up on windy days with the awning extended?
G'day Greg,
The awning will extend out approximately 2m. We'd suggest dropping the side awning in windy weather, they are best suited as a sunshade in calm weather.
When the solid wall is used as an awning, what size is it?
G'day Cass,
There is approximately 20cm on each side between the wall edge and zip tracker, so the awning will be around 2.5-2.6m wide.
Hi, will this awning and mech screen fit the fiesta 3n compact gazebo?
G'day Jacinta,
The Deluxe 3M 2-zip door wall is compatible with the Fiesta Compact 3.0.
Does it come in black?
G'day Benny,
No sorry mate, OZtrail only have these available in White. We do have the Heavy Duty Solid Wall in Black, however, they don't have the 2-zip door feature. Cheers
Can you please provide a link or details of suitable awning poles.
G'day Nicole,
We'd suggest grabbing an Oztrail Awning Pole Set, they are fixed at 180cm so you can pitch the awning with a slight downward tilt. Don't forget to grab some guy ropes and pegs too.
What is the maximum height setting for the deluxe commercial 3m tent that could be used for this mesh/solid door wall?
G'day Gen,
I've just had a chat with one of our gear experts, Neville. He told me that the Oztrail Deluxe 3M 2-Zip Door Wall works right up to the highest setting on an Oztrail Deluxe Commercial 3M Gazebo.
Can you roll up the solid wall instead of extending it out as an annexe?
G'day Dave,
I've just double checked one of the Oztrail Deluxe 3M 2-Zip Door Walls on the shop floor and can confirm that you can roll it up instead of putting it out as an annexe.
Hi there. This question is basically asked twice in the q&a section on the website, and is answered differently each time. One person's question is titled: "Does the mesh unzip as well" (6 months ago) and the answer suggests "yes", whilst another question is titled "Oztrail solid zip wall" (10 months ago) and the answer is "no". Given the product is called a 'doorwall' is it correct to assume that the mesh can be opened to allow a person to move through it, like a doorway?
G'day Paolo,
Sorry for any confusion we've caused with our error. I've just checked one of the Oztrail Deluxe 3m 2-Zip Door Walls that we've got on our shop floor and can confirm that the mesh wall does zip open to create a door that you can walk through.
Can this be used as a door way if I have solid panels the whole way around my gazebo does the mesh unzip Too
G'day Chris,
Good news, the mesh on the Oztrail Deluxe 2 Zip Solid Doorway Wall does zip up as well, along each side where it meets the fabric.
Planning on sleeping in Gazebo. Desiring a cross breeze up higher with privacy down lower. Thanks for your time.
G'day Jack,
These attach with pins at the top of the poles to secure to the top of the gazebo frame so there's a strong possibility of the wall sliding down I'm sorry. (If you altered this, bear in mind that it would be classed as a modification and would void warranty.
Have you considered maybe using the Inner kit that's available as this would fully enclose your gazebo and offer excellent ventilation.
Does this doorway fully unzip like a tent door to allow access in and out?
G’day Kirstin,
The Oztrail Deluxe 2 Zip Solid Doorway Wall doesn’t fully unzip like a tent door to allow access in and out, the solid part simply unzips to expose the mesh and allow extra shelter as an awning.
G'day Kirstin,
I'm really sorry, we've just noticed that we made a mistake when answering your question. The mesh part of Oztrail Deluxe 3m 2-Zip Door Wall DOES unzip to create a door. Sorry for getting that wrong the first time around!
Hello, can you join this wall to the other side walls (solid walls for instance)?
G'day Silvain,
The Oztrail Deluxe 2 Zip Solid Doorway Wall does have zips on either end of each wall, so you will definitely be able to join other Oztrail walls of the same size.Â
No it doesnt have zippers to join to HD walls.. just to open up for awning
G'day Timm,
I've just cross-checked this with the info provided to us by Oztrail, and we found that this wall does have zips on either end of each wall to join it with compatible walls.
If you can, could you confirm that your wall is definitely from Oztrail, and then perhaps send us a picture so we could get to the bottom of this, then that would be great Tim.
I'm looking to get thr coleman gazebo deluxe. I really like the look of this wall. Are they interchangeable?
Hi Jodie,
I would always recommend purchasing the accessories to fit the matching product, as they are designed to fit that product and you will always have fewer issues. When it comes to the Dual Zippered Oztrail Wall and fitting it to the Coleman 3x3 Deluxe Gazebo I can see that there might be an issue of height. The Oztrail Wall is 2.8m high, while the Coleman Gazebo is 3.3m high. I would recommend purchasing the Gazebo which has the accessories that you require from the offset. This will make things a lot easier for yourself in the long run. Oztrail gazebos have a large range of accessories available for those who run market stalls and the like. A really good option if you want to jazz up the standard gazebo.
Hello Team, Could you please advise if this has a centre Zipper and does it have zippers on each side to join to the other walls, ? please, thank you
Hi Rod, the Oztrail Deluxe 2 Zip Solid Doorway Wall does not have a zip down the middle of the panel – it actually has a zip that goes around the edge so that you can unzip the solid panel and extend it as an awning leaving the mesh panel closed. The sides of this wall do have zips so you can join it to other walls of the same size.
If so how much? I notice you have the 3m one advertised.. Thank-u Karen
