The Coleman CPX6 1000 Lumen Lantern stands up proudly when compared to any fuelled lantern.
While rivalling the output of a gas or fuel lantern, the CPX6 1000 Lumen Lantern retains the convenience of battery power. The Intermatrix Remote Phosphor Technology reduces the glare of traditional USB lanterns, and provides a soft warm light.
Powered by 4D cell batteries (sold separately), the CPX6 1000 Lumen lantern is also compatible with the optional CPX6 Rechargeable battery Pack. Complete with four lighting modes, a carry handle and a water resistant casing, the Coleman CPX6 1000 Lumen Lantern will cater for all your campsite lighting needs.
Does this have a red night light, and flashing SOS?1 answer
i'm hoping to see a comparison with the Seige lantern. My preference is to find a dynamo lantern ...

G'day Paul,
We don't carry the Streamlight line, and from speaking to the floor staff I can't find anyone here who is familiar with the Siege lantern range. As for the Coleman CPX6, this lantern does have a flashing mode, but it doesn't offer a red light option.Â
I've had a look through our range and none of our lighting products are dynamo powered, but we do stock rechargeable lanterns which aren't the same, but they still eliminate the need to use disposable batteries.Â
There aren't any lantern in our range that have a red light, but we do sell a spotlight called the AT Tech Spotlight from Life+Gear which features a red light option which is probably your best bet.Â

Hi there Phil, the Coleman Lumen Lantern has four settings- low, medium, high and strobe. The low setting may be suitable for you, but as it’s not specifically for keeping on at night you may want to take that into consideration as it may be too bright.
