Illuminate your tent and cool down on a hot summer’s night of camping with the CPX Lighted Tent Fan from Coleman.
Air flow wise, you can put it high if it’s sweltering, or low if you just need a bit of cool air flow. You can either attach this fan to the tent ceiling by the carabiner or included magnetic plate, or you can rest it on the floor by extending the stand.
The light on this fan is comprised of four LED lights, with bright and night lighting modes for brightening the interior of your shelter. This fan features soft foam blades, which operate quietly and safely, and you power this unit with either D Cell batteries or a separate Coleman CPX power system.

Power options 1 answer
Apart from 4 x D Cell batteries what are other options Can you swap between said options & D Cell
Barry - Melbourne, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day Barry,
These are only able to be powered by D-cell batteries. There was a rechargeable battery insert that Coleman made for these fans, but that has been discontinued for sometime and they are no longer available.

How do you open the battery case?
David - Gymea, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day David,
On the back of the fan there is a black battery compartment cover that has two tabs on either side. When you push both of those tabs in together, say using your thumb and forefinger, the battery cover should just pull off. Hope that helps.

Can this be run off a USB power bank?
Ruben - North Sydney (4 years ago)
G'day Ruben,
The Lighted Tent Fan & Stand can't be run from a USB power bank unfortunately, you'll need 4 x D-cell batteries to run this fan.

Good way to reduce condensation?1 answer
Hi, I've got a Blackwolf turbo twin 300 that's got a condensation problem. Do you think this could help reduce condensation if I invert it and use it as an exhaust fan? Or is there a better option for this?
Jez - Sydney(7 years ago)
G'day Jez,
Using a fan like the Coleman Lighted Tent Fan & Stand will definitely help with condensation. Just make sure you leave a window or door unzipped a little bit to allow the air to move in and out of the tent.
