Wind suitability compared to AeroBase and Coleman Event 143 answers
I would like to know how the Coolum Air 360 compares with resistance to wind, when compared with the Aerobase 3 and Coleman Event 14? Does the Coolum Air have any poles? Thank you
Greg - Port Macquarie, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Greg,
In terms of the suitablility, I would definitely be sticking with the Air Pole shelters, they're unmatched in terms of performance against wind. I'm not personally familiar with the Coolum Air 360, but we do have an Aerobase on display which is fantastic - really strong and holds structure well. We'll have to refer to general feedback for the Coolum. We dont have any reviews online, but we have sold a fair few on them. Reviews from elsewhere online are really positive. Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase!

We sheltered in this during a thunderstorm, microburst and hail right on the campsite. We had two solid walls and two mesh walls. It was dry inside and took and absolute pounding. It has 3 peg points and 3 guy points per corner. I have the upmost confidence in this item. The corners did bend with the 80kmh gust we had but you would expect it to and it was great that it did flex, we had two families shelter in it and they were all impressed and felt very safe. All I will say is be careful pitching and packing in the wind as with all gazebos.

Is extra wall sold separately?

G'day Peng,
They are available separately, however, at this point in time, we're not ranging them. You can purchase them directly on the Outdoor Connection site though.

One Person Set up and Suitable for Cooking1 answer
Hi, just wondering if one person can set this up easily. Also would this be suitable for setting up a camp kitchen under? Specifically use of gas camo stove
Ben - 2566(4 years ago)
G'day Ben,
Yes, one person can set the Coolum 360 with no worries at all. It is suitable to use it as a camp kitchen, however you'll just want to make sure you have plenty of ventilation and don't set up the stove directly against the side wall.
