Whether you’ve got a backyard barbeque, fishing trip, or weekend camping expedition planned – the Cool Ice 85W will chill your food and bevvies for 3-10 days thanks to its food grade insulation.
Dometic use a roto-mould process with their iceboxes, which provides a smooth and seamless finish that doesn’t let cold air escape. The Cool Ice 85 is made of UV stabilised food grade polyethylene and uses improved refrigeration grade foam insulation for keeping your haul nice and cold. You never have to stress about the latches breaking off, as this model has single component rubber ones for reliability. This design also has a modular storage system, and the option to attach separate accessories to personalise your icebox.
Cleaning will be a breeze, just remove the large and easy to grip drain plug, and the solid handles on either side make it easy to carry and secure thanks to the integrated tie-down points. Bring the Cool Ice 85W with you anytime you need to reliably chill your food and drink supplies.

Handles/carrying1 answer
Is there a carry handle at the wheel end of 85W? If yes, can it be carried in the same way as the 85 without the wheels? Also wondering if you have any thoughts on how useful the wheels are when the 85W is loaded with ice etc?

G'day Daniel,
Yes, there are carry handles on both ends of the CI 85W Wheeled Icebox. The handle on the dragging end is a double-length handle but it has a central bar to help carry it at the same height as the wheeled end if needed. The wheels are pretty good and will roll smoothly on most surfaces while loaded.

What is the drinks capacity?1 answer
How many drinks would you be able to fit in this cooler?
Alex - Rosevears(6 years ago)
G'day Alex,
I've just gone downstairs to test this out for you, and it seems the empty bottles and cans we keep around for demonstrating this sort of thing have gone walkabout - so I'm sorry to say that I wasn't able to test this out for you Alex, nor could I find details from Dometic.
However, from looking at the specs for the closest size Dometic fridge - the CFX 75DZW, that model can hold 113 Cans so I would say the Cool Ice CI 85W would be similar if not a few more. I Hope this helps Alex.
