Hello, does Septic tank safe mean it can be disposed of down public long drops at camp sites? Does the same answer also apply to the Thetford green? Is Thetford Pink also safe in the same scenario? Thanks
Shane - Melbourne, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Shane,
No. Septic tanks systems are different from long drop systems, where they use a different method of waste decomposition. The general rule of thumb and best practice for all portable toilet users is to empty your toilets at dedicated dump points only.

preparing toilets that used chemicals1 answer
How to do best prepare a toilet that has used other chemical treatments?
Stuart - Sydney, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Stuart,
Just empty out your tank and give it a rinse, nothing special. Check the application instructions on the back of the bottle for dose rates, & you'll be good to go.

More information1 answer
I need to see more information. How much do you use, how long does it last. And most importantly, is it just for dump points or is it safe for septic tanks?
Sharyn - Bundaberg(5 years ago)
G'day Sharyn,
I'm going to upload an image this afternoon that shows the back of the bottle and provides information about how much to use. As a guide, you would use 25ml per per per week for a waste/holding tank, 10ml per 40L of grey water, or 15ml in the waste tank of a portable toilet. Biomagic is septic safe so you can dispose of it in dump points or septic tanks.

How does this compare with chemical treatments?1 answer
How does this compare to the traditional chemical treatments for portable toilets?
Daniel - Mornington(5 years ago)
G'day Daniel,
The Biomagic Concentrate for All Waste Tanks is a great option. We find it's really popular and is 100% biodegradable and much better for the environment. It is similarly effective to the traditional toilet chemicals.
