Phone size1 answer
Can you please confirm that an iPhone 6SE will fit? Thank you.
Michael - Newport, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Michael,
We've had questions about phone compatibility before. The maximum specified phone width is 8.25cm. So you'll just need to measure up the width of your phone, including any covers...if it's less than 8.25cm wide you should be fine.

Suction mount1 answer
I’ve just bought this for my motorcycle, but in case I want a permanent mount instead of suction, can I buy a 3M adhesive mount with a ball? So as I can then attach the arm/cradle to it?
Chad - Port Macquarie Bc, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day CHad,
You can, but not from us. We only have a very small range of RAM instock, but somewhere like the online retailer Johnny Appleseed has loads and loads on RAM parts if you need to customise the mount you have. You'll be wanting the B size parts, they're the 1" ball which line up with what you've got.

accessories sent with it 1 answer
Hi Just wondering what the rubbery thing and glue are for which were sent with the mount?
Genevieve - Tea tree gully(4 years ago)
G'day Genevieve,
The rubber tethering device is included if you plan to use the X-grips on a motorcycle mount, to add some extra security for your device. For general car driving, you shouldn't need to use it, for rough 4WDing, you might find it helps to hold it in place. The glue is supplied so you can glue the rubber caps to the X-grip arms if you don't wish to have the need to remove them.

mounting to dash 1 answer
will this suction onto the dash or just windows?
Gen - Tea tree gully(4 years ago)
G'day Gen,
The Suction Cup Mount needs a non-porous surface to mount to, so generally, your dash will be too uneven and not smooth enough for the suction cup to mount to it.

Iphone 11 (with case)1 answer
Can this fit the standard iPhone 11 (with a tough case such as Otterbox)?
Joel - O'SULLIVAN BEACH(4 years ago)
G'day Joel,
I've just had a quick look into the specification on RAMs website, and they've advised the RAM Mounts Twist Suction Cup Mount & Phone Cradle is compatible with the iPhone 11. There's no further fitting advice based on different covers, etc. We do know that an iPhone Pro Max does not fit, so might be worth checking the overall dimensions of your phone with the dimensions of that model. Hope that helps!

Will this carry the weight and size of a iPhone 11max pro?
Yonna - Wodonga (5 years ago)
G'day Yonna,
I've just double-checked the listed specifications and Ram indicate that this model can be used with the iPhone 11 Pro, but not the iPhone 11 Pro Max. You might need to find a supplier who carries the large version of the mount.

will this mount hold the i-pad mini ?1 answer
will this mount hold the i-pad mini ?
sue - canberra(5 years ago)
G'day Sue,
Unfortunately not, the cradle won't open up wide enough to fit your Ipad Mini. RAM do make an Ipad mini cradle mount, however, it's not something we currently range, so your best bet might be to check out one of the other Australian RAM Mount sellers, there are quite a few who sell all sorts of combinations.

Can this be interchanged with motorcycle mounts?1 answer
Can these parts be interchanged with motorcycle phone mounts by RAM so I can use it for motorcycle and car?
K - Syd(6 years ago)
G'day K,
Yes, Ram Mounts are very flexible, the central Socket Arm can be loosened and a different fitting attached instead of the suction cap. We don't sell the individual parts, but there is a supplier in Sydney who should be able to supply a motorcycle mount for you. Check out rammount.com for their international distributor list.
