Watts usage1 answer
Can you confirm how many watts this kettle draws from an inverter?
Emile Koskinas - Petersham, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Emile,
This is a stove top kettle, so has no power source. You may have meant to ask this question on the Billy 240V Kettle? In which case you can find the power consumption information in the specifications, with more detailed information in the PDF product manual. Hope that helps!

Induction stove use1 answer
Can this kettle be used on an induction stove
Karen - Toormina, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Karen,
The base is made from 304 Stainless Steel which is not magnetic, so it unfortunately wont work with induction cooktops.

Compact Kettle 2L1 answer
We love this kettle from Snowys but are not sure it can be used on our motorhomes kitchen gas burner? It works well on the electric element. Please advise if it can be used on the gas flame element?
Kevin - Cromer, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Kevin,
You won't have any issues, just be mindful of the spread of the gas flame and keep it well under the base of the kettle. The only issue would be the flames coming up around the sides and melting the silicone.
