Tying to cram your entire bulky camp arsenal into the car as the long weekend traffic builds up, and the kids start to whine is not a situation you want to put yourself in. Get yourself some streamlined camp furniture like the Compaclite Voyager Chair from OZtrail and save yourself the stress!
The Voyager is the speckiest of the Compaclite range, as it features a higher back and a headrest for added comfort. The bucket style seat has a slightly inclined back, so it’s great for curling up with something to read and a cheeky beverage or two. You can keep everything you need in arms reach inside the storage pocket, which will keep your valuables from falling out of your pocket onto the ground.
You don’t have to limit this chair to your camping expeditions – as OZtrail have added a sand saver on the bottom which covers the feet of the chair, so you can sit on soft ground or sand without sinking in. To assemble all you have to do is extend the frame, add the seat, attach the sand saver to the bottom - and it’s ready to go!

Hello, does this chair come in other colours?
Alan - St Kilda(6 years ago)
G'day Alan,
The Oztrail Compaclite Voyager Camp Chair only comes in the red, I'm sorry to say. If you were wanting to look at another colour, then maybe another chair from the Compaclite Range might suit you.

Is 39x140x140cm the correct packed dimension?
Rem - Sydney(8 years ago)
G'day Rem,
Now that doesn't sound right for a compact chair! I've double checked with the info provided by Oztrail, and it seems that this chair is actually 39 x 14 x 14 - so I've fixed those specs up now.
Sorry about the confusion there Rem, I hope this hasn't inconvenienced you.

HOW DOES SEAT ATTACH TO FRAME1 answer
I HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH CAMP SEAT MATERIAL TEARING AS FRAME PUNCTURES IT AT TOP ON MANY CAMP CHAIRS. I WEIGH 70KG
KEL - SYLVANIA NSW(8 years ago)
G'day Kel,
I've just had a look myself at the display model, and the seat hooks over the corners of the frame. This area of the seat is reinforced so there shouldn't be an issue with tearing. The Compaclite chair is rated to 110kg, so you're well within the weight rating.
Just keep in mind it's designed to be compact and lightweight, and isn't going to offer as much sturdiness as a director or quad fold style chair. If you're after a really robust chair, Oztent make some very sturdy ones but they aren't going to be as portable of course.
