Oztrail replacement seat 1 answer
Hi can you buy a replacement canvas seat? I have the frame but the canvas seat part has worn.
Chris - 2096(4 years ago)
G'day Chris,
Unfortunately, the seat part of the Discovery Chair isn't available for purchase separately.

Warranty 1 answer
Is this chair breaks in the first year will it be covered under warranty I want to try it but 2 reviews say they only last 1 to 2 years
T - Perth(4 years ago)
G'day T,
There is a 12 month manufacturers warranty on these chairs, so if there is any manufacturing faults or defects in the first year you'll be covered.

Does this chair have a "sand saver" for the leg base?
Max - 7320(5 years ago)
G'day Max,
The Compactlite Discovery doesn't have a 'sand saver' under the leg base. The older model of this chair did, but unfortunately, they have been discontinued.

Easy to set up?1 answer
It says "Integrated 3 step easy assembly" - could you please describe in more detail how you set the chair up and how you pack it up to fit in the storage bag?
Kate - Adelaide(6 years ago)
G'day Kate,
The frame on the Compactlite Discovery Chair has a central hub with all the steel pole sections attached to the hub so they just need to be slotted into the frame. We don't have a current video, but I just had a quick look on youtube and there are a few setup and pack up videos. Alternately you can pop into our Richmond Road store and the staff will be happy to give you a demo.

Is this sturdier than it looks?1 answer
Love the idea of the small packing size, but is it sturdy? Could you lean backwards in it or would you topple over?
Laura - Wembley Downs (6 years ago)
G'day Laura,
Great question! This modest looking chair is actually incredibly comfortable and sturdy. I've just tested it out on the shop floor and was surprised by how flexible the frame was without any concern of twisting or toppling over, as you say. Obviously, you want to take care to not rock back with your feet off the ground but you don't have to worry about lack of stability in this chair.
