How do you clean these after a number of uses

We'd recommend rinsing it out with free water after each use, and leaving upside to drain until dry before storing away. If there is some build-up you might need to rinse out with something like this reservoir cleaner.

That's a tricky one, there aren't really any repair options that are classified as 'food-safe'. You could try using superglue or similar, however, it would likely mean you can no longer use the unit for drinking water.

How would you say the Coleman compare to the GSI collapsible water carriers?

I'd say these are so similar it's hard to compare them. Some minor differences include - GSI has a limited lifetime warranty, holds 20L, and weighs 286g whereas Coleman is a 1 year warranty, holds 18.9L, and weighs 390g, and also includes 2 handles. They are both made of similar material and the reviews indicate they both do their job well! So it might come down to personal preference.
