Can two of these sleeping bags be zipped together to make one bigger sleeping bag?1 answer
Can two of these sleeping bags be zipped together to make one bigger sleeping bag?
Ros - tasmania(6 years ago)
G'day Ros,
You can zip 2 of the EPE Cocoon Micro -5 Sleeping Bags together. Just keep in mind though that because they taper towards the bottom, it will be a bit of an odd shape.

The picture shows 0degree rating on the bag. Are they really -5?1 answer
In the ad it shows the bag with 0degree printed. Just confirming these are -5 as per description
Mark - Sydney(6 years ago)
G'day Mark,
Thanks for making us aware of that mistake, we've fixed it up now. The EPE Cocoon Micro -5 Sleeping Bags that we've got in stock are the -5° rated ones.
Ben - Snowys(6 years ago)
were they indepedently tested?1 answer
Hi,
I was just wondering if the temperature rating was done by the company or was it independently tested?
Adam - Tamworth(6 years ago)
G'day Adam,
The original EPE Cocoon Micro -5 Sleeping Bag was independently tested. From there, with minor changes to the design and the like, Explore Planet Earth have tested them in-house from then on. With this being the latest model, they've been tested by Explore Planet Earth.

Could you tell me the max lowest temp rating on this bag please?1 answer
Hi. Could you tell me the max lowest temp rating on this bag please?
Terese - Chambers Flat, Queensland(6 years ago)
G'day Terese,
I've just given Explore Planet Earth a buzz to find out for you. They told me that whilst they've got the -5° comfort limit on the Cocoon Micro, they haven't got any figure around an extreme limit, I'm sorry to say.

Does it come with a bag?1 answer
Hi there, does this sleeping bag comes with a bag?
Reen - Vermont VIC(6 years ago)
G'day Reen,
It sure does! The EPE Cocoon Micro -5 Sleeping Bag comes with a compression bag, so you can pack it in nice and small!
Ben - Snowys(6 years ago)
Are the packed dimensions correct?1 answer
Hi, The packed dimensions provided (roughly 33cm cubed) don't seem all that small or compact for hiking, and seem quite different to the image provided. Are they correct?
John - GEELONG WEST(6 years ago)
G'day John,
The packed dimensions on our website for the Explore Planet Earth Cocoon Micro -5 Sleeping Bag are taken without any compression applied to the bag. Once you compress it in its compression bag, it gets significantly smaller.
