Does the fly attach to the corner with webbing clips? Or is it just elastic that needs to be pegged.

The corners have bungee cord with some small hooks that will connect to the loop that the poles slot into.

I've got a Zempire Monstamat Single, will the tent have enough room for my mat and to store a duffel bag in with me? I have a 4P tent but looking for something smaller for when I'm not sharing a tent.

Yes you should be able to fit a single Monstamat and duffle bag in the Classic Dome 2 with no problems.
