Red light1 answer
just wondering, when you turn the head lamp on does it go straight to white or red light?
Chris - Amberley(5 years ago)
G'day Chris,
The CHT4 red light activates first so that you can maintain night vision if required. You can then cycle through to the two white modes as required.

Water resistant1 answer
Hi, just wondering if this headlamp is water resistant?
Chris - Amberley(5 years ago)
G'day Chris,
Coleman have given the CHT4 headtorch an IPX4 rating - which means it is resistant to a splash of water, so realistically it could probably handle the occasional light shower, but anything more than that water could get into the unit.

Head size1 answer
What's the minimum head circumference that the strap can fit? I am just wondering if it will fit my 9 year old son. Thanks.
Janine - Springvale(7 years ago)
G'day Janine,
The Coleman CHT4 Headlamp is designed for kids and uses a toggle to tighten the strap as much as is required. You'll have no worries getting it to fit your 9yo son.
