Can the display be set to show the temperature all the time rather than having to press the on/ off button?

G'day Phil,
As far as we are aware it's not a possible function. Dometic have the fridge app which allows you to see the temperature at all times, regardless of whether or not you are looking at, or able to look at, the fridge. We find this super helpful for driving, or even when you're in bed at night, to be able to have constant 'eyes' on it.

Am I able to freeze items in the Domestic?1 answer
I was planning on using this as a freezer - freezing water to place as ice in my esky. A friend said that isn't possible - it only keeps things frozen that are already frozen. Is this true?

G'day Lynn,
You can use these to freeze water, however, it will take a lot longer than a conventional home freezer. You'll probably need upwards of 24 hours to freeze a 1L bottle of water in this depending on the conditions and temperature. Ideally these units are suited to keeping already frozen food frozen, but if you're wanting to freeze something not frozen it will just take some time.
