About the Role

Our Customer Support Group ensures an exceptional customer experience every time by phone, email, and social media channels as well as after sales support including warranties, returns and freight assistance.

As we head into our peak trading period we are looking to expand our team of casual support staff who are based at Snowys Head Office, Keswick.

Working between 10-25 hours per week, you will respond to customer enquiries across all channels, troubleshoot any problems that arise, provide customers with recommendations on our products, and maintain our reputation for delivering friendly and authentic service. Our Customer Support Centre is open 7 days a week and rostered shifts can be allocated across all 7 days, during retail business hours.

Weekend availability is essential.

About You

  • High computer literacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Camping or outdoors adventure experience is preferred
  • Confidence to make recommendations autonomously

Retail Store Team Members

We're on the lookout for a handful of passionate outdoor enthusiasts to join our vibrant Snowys sales team, assisting customers with their upcoming adventures.

What we're really interested in finding is experienced lovers of camping, hiking and/or travel who is personable, vibrant, and energetic with a willingness to learn. Our customers love to shop at Snowys because they know they'll get the best advice from a team that know our products and have a shared love of outdoor adventures.

So, if you’ve had camping, hiking and/or travel experience, studied or worked in outdoor recreation or tourism, or are involved in one of the many outdoor communities across Queensland - we'd love to hear from you!

If you have the following, then that’s even better:

  • Retail, sales, or customer service experience – ideally in the outdoor industry
  • Brilliant verbal communications skills – both in person and on the phone
  • Experience working with POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • A creative brain and attention to detail to assist with merchandising displays

Our Brendale store is open 7 days a week, which allows our customers to get what they need, when they need it; so weekend availability will be a must for successful candidates.

Warehouse Team Lead

Casual | Melrose Park, SA

Snowys is seeking a passionate, energetic team player with proven leadership skills to support our warehouse operations in Melrose Park, SA. This is a casual role, 4-5 days per week Monday and Friday. The opportunity to progress to full-time exists for the right candidate.

About the role

Our warehouse operates 6 days a week, Sunday to Friday, between 6 am and 5pm,  This role encompases the management of incoming stock (Mon-Fri) to ensure an efficient and organised process from recieval to shelf.

Tasks include:

  • Unloading trucks with a forklift.
  • Counting & scanning deliveries into our Warehouse Management System.
  • Ensuring a tidy and well organized recieval area.
  • Accurately putting stock away to pick locations.
  • Managing warehouse storage space for efficiency and safety.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Dispatch and Picking teams to ensure a smooth workflow, quick and easy access to stock for picking and supporting the team to meet our deadlines and customer expectations.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Has proven warehousing, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Is a great team player and enjoys collaborating and supporting the team to get the job done.
  • Has great attention to detail to ensure that every product is handled with care and accuracy.
  • Has a sense of urgency, the ability to work to deadlines and is physically fit – you’ll be on your feet all day!
  • Has a passion for delivering exceptional service and understands the impact a clean, well-organized warehouse has on both staff and customers.
  • Forklift license and experience is essential!
  • Has a great sense of humour and the ability to have fun!!
