Awning clip comparison1 answer
Hi there, could you tell me what the differences are between these clips and the Australian RV brand, they look very similar but these are twice the price?
Jeremy - Cooloongup, WA(2 years ago)
G'day Jeremy,
Its a great question, and I didnt know the answer myself until checking them side by side. The materials seem similar, however the Supex is a clear & clean stainless steel, where as the Australian RV looks to be a different grade - its got a bit of a tarnished brassy colour too them. They're also quite different shapes, which you may be able to tell looking at both images side by side. The Aus RV clips are wider and flatter, where as the Supex clips are more of a rounder shape.
Just at a glance I'd suggest the Aus RV would be better for awnings that have a flatter elliptical shaped outer beam, where as the Supex clips are ideal for a round/cylindrical outer beam.
Hope that helps

Awning models1 answer
Are you able to give any Fiamma awning models that these clips may be compatible with? Thanks
Jacki - 3280(5 years ago)
G'day Jacki,
I've just double-checked the information Supex provides and they indicate that the Clips are best suited to Dometic (A&E), Carefree and Aussie traveller awnings.

The add shows two different types off clips 1 answer
Which clips are we purchasing if we order these as it appears there are two different types ?
Greg - Warners Bay(5 years ago)
G'day Greg,
Both images actually show the same thing, but the top-down angle of the first image might make it a little confusing. The second image best reflects the depth of the stainless steel clips.
