Can it be installed on the side of the wheel?1 answer
My reverse camera is located inside the spare wheel rim, to avoid blocking it with the bag, is it possible to install the bag on the side of the wheel instead?
Ziyad - Chullora, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Ziyad,
I cant really see a way how to do that, I'm sorry. The bag ultimately needs the width and support of the full back wheel to hold shape and be attached, but have a watch of our "How to set up" video - that will show you how all the straps and how they work, and could give an idea on how it could work for you.

Firewood 1 answer
Can you carry small firewood pieces it
Maurice - Branxton, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Maurice,
Yes, absolutely! I would just use some commonsense when you are loading it up & keep an eye out for any strain on stitching, etc with super heavy wood, but there shouldn't be any issues.

fitment to spare wheel1 answer
Hi my spare wheel is a 195 80 R15 (27inch) spare, will this fit snug to this size spare you think? thanks.
WENFENG - ROUSE HILL(4 years ago)
G'day Wenfeng,
This should be fine, the straps are very adjustable and can be adjusted to fit almost any tyre size.

Ute Tailgate1 answer
Would this bag strap on to the tailgate of a tub? Cheers
Troy - Byford WA(4 years ago)
G'day Troy,
Ideally they're designed to strap over a spare wheel, however, the straps are quite adjustable so you might be able to make it work on the tailgate of a ute tub without too many problems.

Capacity vol1 answer
Hi Snowys, I'm trying to decide between this and the Bushranger. Do you know what the capacity of this one is in L? I want to use it to carry sleeping bags etc on the back of a Prado, thanks
Jules - Launceston(4 years ago)
G'day Jules,
The AO Canvas Spare Wheel Storage Bin is approximately 50L in size. They're not really designed to carry sleeping hear, however, if you did pop sleeping bags in there I'd recommend lining it with a heavy-duty bin liner or similar to keep your sleeping bags dry.

Maximum weight storage1 answer
Hi, Just like to know the maximum amount of kg(not litres) you will be able to store in this bag while driving & it hangs off the spare wheel
Yee - Noosa(4 years ago)
G'day Yee,
Thanks so much for the question mate, it's a good one! The max weight capacity is not actually a provided specification. I have had a quick chat with AOS directly and looking at the quality of materials and workmanship that go into these, and weight specs on some of their other products, we'd feel safe to say up to around 15kg.
