Hi Guys, is there a version with the hinge and clasp on opposite sides1 answer
ie. swings open to the left?

G'day Bruce,
The OZtrail 4.5kg Gas Bottle Holder is only available in the model we have here. I have checked with OZtrail and they only offer this option and a 9 Kg version too. If you are handy with an angle grinder and a welder, this Gas Bottle Holder could be modified to suit your needs however, this would void the warranty.

Can I use this with the 3.7kg swap-and-go bottle?1 answer
I use the swap-and-go 3.7kg bottle but am having trouble finding a holder to suit. Also, can I side-mount this? Is the holder strong enough if I attached it on the side and cantilever it?
Brad - Warriewood(5 years ago)
G'day Brad,
I've just had a look at the Gas Bottle Holder and there is some degree of variability in the overall diameter of the holder. The clasp to shut the holder has a screw thread on it, so the smallest diameter is 25cm, and the largest diameter is 26cm. There are two mount holes on the back of the holder that are 16cm apart, however, there is no indication about the best way to mount these, so my suggestion would be to use the supplied mounting holes and mount it wherever suits, but I think the best option might be to mount with a flat base underneath the holder.
