With the simplicity of a swag and the luxury of a camp stretcher – the Oztent Bunker XL will provide you with a good night sleep on any terrain.
This king-sized shelter has a little more length and width to cater for larger frames or campers who like to have extra wriggle room. When the weather turns bad, the heavy-duty cross leg steel frame keeps you off the cold ground, and the 100% waterproof coated cotton walls and robust rip-stop polyester fly will keep you reliably dry. During summer, the elevated bed allows all-round ventilation, the superfine mesh provides insect protection and can be zipped in and out, and the fold up side flaps on the fly enable air flow.
The 600D x 600D PVC coated polyester base features sewn-in padding for comfort and warmth, and thanks to four interior organiser pockets and the expandable vestibule, you can keep all your essentials nearby so you can stay in bed all day. With the height of a stretcher and the protection of a tent – the Bunker XL from Oztent will change the way you camp.

What mattress would you recommend ?1 answer
What self inflating mattress would be best for this ?
Justin - Mona vale(5 years ago)
G'day Justin,
Any foam mat that fits the sleeping dimensions of the OZtent Bunker XL Stretcher Tent will do the trick but I'd probably go with the Zempire Bomberpad Camp Mattress for a good value for money option.

Random Question 1 answer
Hi Guys, really random question but do you have, or are you able to get, the old XL that had the poly cotton fly?? I wouldn’t mind getting one if I could. Cheers mark
Mark - Inverell (6 years ago)
G'day Mark,
Just getting back to you as I've now double checked and found out that OZtent never made the XL in canvas, only the non-XL. Could that be what you're after? Cheers :)

Is it canvas 1 answer
It looks to me like the oztent bunker stretcher is canvas, but the XL is not canvas. Is that right? Thanks
Evan - Leschenault (6 years ago)
G'day Evan,
You're correct- the Oztent Bunker XL Stretcher Tent is not canvas. It is made with Rip-Stop Polyester. This may be to keep the weight down.

Jet bunker1 answer
Is this the same as the oztent jet bunker?
Janelle - Keperra (6 years ago)
G'day Janelle,
These are the new version of the Jet Tent Bunker, they've just dropped the Jet Tent name. The new feature worth mentioning is the mosquito netting doors now zip out completely making packing it away without pinching and damaging the mesh much easier.

Removeable mesh?1 answer
Hi, are the mesh panels on this tent removable and/or replaceable?
Ive read some reviews for the other Oztent bunker tent that have mentioned the mesh is easy to rip if you arent careful when setting up and packing up.
Thanks.
Jye - Warners Bay(6 years ago)
G'day Jye,
The mesh window panels on the new Oztent Bunker XL Stertcher Tent are completely removable to help prevent this exact problem mate. I believe Oztent will have spares available in case you do have a problem at all.
