Hi there, could you confirm the dimensions of the single box mosquito net? They are printed here the same as the double.
Many thanks :)

G'day Bell,Â
That's definitely not right at all - good thing you noticed so we can update those specs to reflect the correct dimensions.Â
I've just had a look at the packaging and it says that the Kookaburra Box Style Single Mosquito net is 200L x 80W x 150H and the Double is 200L x 160W x 150H.
I'll make sure to update those specs now so no-one else gets confused.Â

Reason for large packed size1 answer
I was thinking that a mosquito net would be very light and pack down very small, but was a bit surprised when I saw the packed dimensions. Was also surprised when I saw the other single dome weight to be 300g too. Is this because the nets are supplied with metal frames that hold the top in shape?

Hi Chris, the packed dimensions are slightly different on the current product, but in terms of volume it's around about the same. I guess the way it is packaged changes a little over time hence the difference. As for the weight, the stated specs are right, the bell nets have a plastic loop sewn into the top which would add to the weight, but most of this can be attributed to the fabric. Most mozzie nets are around the same weights and dimensions.

How many holes per square inch1 answer
Meg - Canberra(9 years ago)
They don't specify a measurement for this sorry Meg. If I was to hazard a guess, I would judge it next to the Sea To Summit nets which are graded at 500 holes per square inch, and appear twice as fine as the Kookaburra nets. So I estimate it to be about 250 - 300 holes per square inch. I hope this helps.
