Keeping your rooftop tent tidy and organised has never been easier than with the Boot and Gear Pocket from 23Zero.

This handy pouch comes as a pair and slides into the existing rope/sail tracks at the entrance of your 23Zero rooftop tent. These bags are made with durable 210D Polyester Oxford and each features a main pocket with a fold-over lid for weatherproof storage, as well as mesh pockets on the front to keep necessities organised and at hand, and they store flat so you can just fold them up inside your rooftop tent for transport.

This storage pocket doesn't just have to be used with your rooftop tent though, it will slide into any 10mm rope/sail track which means you can hang it on the side of any awning with a free sail track too for storage in the campsite.

Do these Boot & Gear Pockets fit on the Dakota Super Lite? If so, where please?

G'day Deb,

There is a sail track that runs around the base of the roof top tent, on both halves.
You'll need to slide the Boot and Gear pockets in at the base plate split point in the middle of the tent, and then move them around to the position you want them in.

These are compatible with pretty much all of the 23 Zero RTTs, most have a sail track you can enter from the corners, the Dakota is slightly different where you have to slide these in through near the back hinge. Otherwise, you can attach a sail track mount.

No they don't - most roof top tents or awnings will already have sail track that this just slides into.
They're designed to go into an existing space.
If you don't have any sail track, you can pick up lengths from Bunnos.

When you say bead, I'm assuming you're talking about sail track?
If thats the case, then yes - in theory. Sail track in Australia is fairly standardised, so whilst we haven't tried these out on a Kings tent, they should be fine.

G'day Snowy's, wondering how these would go with the Panther RTT, where they'd be exposed to the elements. How grim would the weather need to get before you'd start to worry about wet shoes? :)

Depends entirely on the weather and how you've got your tent oriented, etc.
These pouches aren't waterproofed, but the Panther does have a small vestibule/entry overhang that would offer some protection. It'd just be a matter of common sense and if the pouches are relatively protected from the rain, you should be fine...if they're not and are getting drenched, then pull them in.

Unless you want to customise it, Sam, you’ll need a small section of sail track to mount these. I'm not sure Velcro would be enough to keep it secured unless you were storing lightweight gear inside. ~ Ben
