For a hearty meal on the go the Outdoor Gourmet Company’s Beef Bourguignon is the one for you. It’s a delicious beef stew with aromatic vegetables, herbs and spices, finished with a luscious flavoured sauce.
All Outdoor Gourmet Company dishes are freeze-dried for lighter weight, longer shelf life and to lock in the nutrition, flavour and texture. Easy to prepare no matter where you are – just open the pouch, pour in hot water, let stand for about 10 minutes and shazam! Delicious!
There's no need for a bowl, you only need a spoon – you can eat from the packet then use it as a mini waste bag afterwards.

How much water is needed to hydrate the meal?
Elizabeth - Sydney (5 years ago)
G'day Elizabeth,
I've just read the instructions listed on the packaging which directs you to remove the separate "potato pouch" and add 270mls of boiling water and the main meal pouch requires 300mls of boiling water. Allow 10 minutes for each pouch to rehydrate.

Does this feed one or two [in theory]
Dot - New Zealand(9 years ago)
Hi Dot, good question. In theory, this is a 2 person serving. However this will depend on the person of course. For me personally, a single serve is plenty, however some of the men that work here will eat a double serve on their own. If you're worried about not having enough, you can always grab some of the side dishes such as the Back Country mashed potato, mixed vegetables or rice to bulk up the meal.
