With two rooms, one for sleeping and one for living in – the Bedarra Family Dome Tent from Outdoor Connection is ideal for the camping couple or small family.
This tent has an inner made from breathable polyester, with no-see-um mesh windows and doors for ventilation and mosquito or midge protection. You’ll be shielded from the elements thanks to the 3000mm
The rear bedroom has straight walls to maximise the space inside, so it's easier to accommodate gear such as camp stretchers, and you’ll be able to ventilate easily as it has large side windows and Ventraflow panels. For extra shade around your tent, you can also set up the side or end doors as awnings. Spacious, durable and well-ventilated – the Bedarra Tent from Outdoor Connection is perfect for your family camping escapades.

I bought this a few weeks ago (Sep 2022) and your page along with Outdoor Connections page state this tent has a 5 year warranty however the label stitched into the bag states the tent has a 3 year warranty. Could you confirm which is correct and why the difference between the label and website(s). 5 year warranty was a factor when choosing this tent over others. Thanks.
G'day Kyle,
The advertised warranty at the time of purchase is the warranty period that is current.
Brands may sometimes change the warranty period of their products, and the only way to do this effectively is through online advertising. It's near on impossible to trace & physically change any gear that's already been manufactured & distributed, but not yet sold - hope that makes sense!
If you ever have a warranty issue our team at Snowys will be on standby to help you, and we have full record of purchase, etc.
If you'd like some piece of mind, you can also 'register' your Bedarra with Outdoor Connection directly, here.
All suppliers keep a record of warranty period changes, so proof of purchase is all that will be required to know your tent has 5 year warranty.
Hi, will this tent be spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids? Can both the rooms be used as sleeping areas? Is there a privacy screen /room divider between the rooms? Which warp do you suggest to use with this tent? How does this tent compare with Coleman Gold 10P in terms of internal space? Thanks
G'day Dee,
It's a great option for a smaller family tent. Compared to the Coleman Gold 10P it's a touch narrower but it is longer, and you can create a more functional outdoor living space with the optional awning extensions. The only other thing to note is the Coleman has 2 identical sized rooms, whereas the Bedarra has a larger rear room.
There is a zip doorway between the rooms of either mesh or solid fabric, and both can definitely be used as sleeping areas.
In terms of a ground sheet, the tent measures 5 x 2.7m, not including the awning space. There's no tarp or groundsheet made specifically for this tent, so one as close to these dimensions will do the trick. Be aware if it's larger you may have to peg through the groundsheet. If you want to have the awning area floored aswell, you can either grab a second tarp for this area in whatever size you want, or add that rough amount to the above a grab a much larger single.
How long would this take to set up and can it be done by one person?
G'day Graham,
You'd need about 45 minutes to set this tent up the first time around, but once you know what you're doing you should be able to cut that down to about 30 mins or less, depending on whether you've got helpers or not. The tent can be set up by one person, although it will be a bit tricky, especially getting the fly over the top, so it is best if you have an extra set of hands to help.
Also does it come with a bag and what else is needed to actually erect it, eg, pegs, ropes, etc?
G'day Peter,
Yes, these are the correct packed dimensions of the Bedarra Family 2 Room Dome Tent. It packs smaller than your instant style tents, but is on par with similar dome style tents. The tent comes with a bag, pegs and guy ropes, the only extra thing you might need is an awning side wall to increase the shade at the front of the tent, and a mallet/hammer for whacking your pegs in.
Hi there, Can you confirm the Bedarra front room is inner solid with mesh door or full mesh? From internet looks like there 2 version of this tent. Thanks
G'day Vanessa,
I've spoken with Outdoor Connection and they can confirm that the front room has mesh and solid privacy panels so both rooms can be used as sleeping areas.
As seen in the picture.
G'day Mike,
The Bedarra Family 2 Room Dome Tent doesn't come with the awning side wall to increase the awning size, but you can pick one up here.
