I've just grabbed one of the Coleman Beach Mats from our shop floor and measured the back for you, the cooler is approximately 33W x 25H cm. We've got a couple of empty display wine bottles to test with these things and whilst I did manage to get both the standard and sparkling wine bottles in the cooler, I could only fit one in at a time and it needed to be put in on an angle as it didn't stand upright.

Unfortunately, the cooler can't be detached.

Unfortunately, there aren't many camping products still made in Australia. The Coleman Beach Mat is made in China.

It's not sorry YS, if you wanted to wash these your best bet would be some warm soapy water and the garden hose, making sure it is completely dry and no water is caught in the frame before storage.
