An upgrade on the original, the Companion Aquacube Digital reliably delivers continuous hot water for a perfect outdoor shower or campsite hot water system. Quick connect fittings and a digital control panel enable hassle-free operation from a lightweight and portable appliance.
The ideal option when you have 12V DC power at hand, the Aquacube Digital utilises portable BOM propane gas cartridges to heat water to 30°C above source water temperature, while an easy to read LCD display makes it possible to monitor your shower temperature.
The swing tap has an outlet adjustment, and when water flow is activated on the shower head, the burner ignites automatically. Built-in safety features such as fuse protection, temperature cut out and tilt protection prevent damage to both the user, and the appliance.
The package includes long silicone hoses, DC power adapters and a carry bag, so you can take the comforts of a hot shower with you on any camping trip.
Hi I want to buy this product. Can you tell me how to buy it?
Sorry Huang, we only ship parcels within Australia at this point in time.
Can this be connected to a seperate pressure pump, if so what is the Max psi and flow rate that the unit can handle?
G'day Ben,
Unfortunately, you won't be able to connect this to a separate pump. You'll just need to use the supplied pump that can be submerged into a water tank / bucket.
Can you pump just regular cold water as well through this unit? If we wanted to have it for drinking water ect.
G'day Ryan,
I've just double-checked the User Manual for the Aquacube Digital Camp Shower and there is a big banner in the manual that says "This appliance is not intended for the supply of drinking water." So sorry Ryan, the answer is no.
I drive rough tracks, corrugations etc. My Aquacube often can't be started because of a tilt switch fault. I was advised to give it a big bump. That's worked once or twice but usually we're not able to use it for days until it magically resets itself. I don't need a tilt protection switch. Can I disconnect it?
G'day Julian,
We're sorry but we're not able to recommend modifying your Aquacube, especially as it is a gas unit, so making any modifications could prove quite dangerous. We'd say give Companion a call to verify this, but we wouldn't recommend trying to disconnect the tilt switch.
Water tank
G'day Anthony,
The Aquacube Digital Camp Shower doesn't have a water tank, so you can use the pump to draw water from a bucket or tub.
Can the unit be installed in a joinery cabinet? Dose it need venting?
G'day James,
The Aquacube Digital Camp Shower is designed for outdoor use due to the carbon monoxide produced. We wouldn't recommend installing this inside a cabinet or inside a caravan/van.
I would like to hook this up to a quick connect gas fitting on my camper. This gas line is already regulated. Is this possible?
G'day Mick,
The Companion Aquacube Digital Camp Shower has an inbuilt regulator so unfortunately, you won't be able to hook this up to a quick connect gas fitting on your camper.
Can this unit be used indoors, such as inside a campervan? Assuming of course that adequate ventilation via windows or extractor fans are in place. Or is it rated for outdoor use only?
G'day Tim,
We'd recommend that you only use the Companion Aquacube Digital Camp Shower outside. That doesn't mean that you can't have the unit outside but the shower part inside. Just make sure that the unit is in an outside area so that you don't risk any carbon monoxide poisoning.
can the unit be connected to a pressurised water source like a tap? If so, does it require power?
G'day Phil,
The Aquacube can be attached to a pressurised water source using the attachment which is sold separately, but it does still require power to use the heating element. Unfortunately we don't have the water hose adaptor on our website at the moment, but you can view it on the Companion Brands website here. Give us a call on 1300 914 007 if you'd like to order this part.
Hi, whats the difference between the Aquacube Digital and the Aquacube Logic Lithium? And between those two units, and the Coleman Hot Water On Demand H2Oasis Elite, do ANY of the units allow you to stop and start from the shower head?
G'day Garry,
The Aquacube Digital needs an external power source (car), while the Logic Lithium and H2Oasis Elite have built in batteries so they can run without a connection, so that would be the main differences between the three models.
You can turn the shower off at the head of the H2Oasis Elite, but if you do that the whole unit will turn off. The Logic Lithium also has an on/off flow switch on the head.
