Thanks for your enquiry! I've had a good look at both products by Thetford and Dometic. Both products are made with highly effective deodorising and sanitation properties that keep the toilet cleaner for longer by coating the bowl with a thin layer of product, protecting against stains and prevents scaling. Dometic has listed that the Dometic Extra Care Rinse Water Additive also guards the rubber seal against corrosion but otherwise, they seem to provide the same advantages. We generally find that customers purchase the same brand of cleaner as the toilet they own but that is not necessary. It is important to only use products specifically for each tank and not to mix up top tank and waste holding tank cleaners.
