Length of the fridge plug (20mm or 15mm?)1 answer
Hi, Can you tell me the length of the plug that inserts into the fridge. The current model Dometics ( eg. CFF12) have a 20mm plug, while many older models (e.g. CF40) have a 15mm plug. I've seen plugs designed for the older fridges which don't work with current models Dometics as the plug is too short. What's the plug length of this? Thanks.
Andrew - Melbourne, VIC(9 months ago)
G'day Andrew,
The Voltflow Dometic/Waeco cables have a 15mm length plug. We've sold hundreds of these cables & people are using them with the current CFX3 models with no issues. Hope that helps.

Oztrail fridges1 answer
Will this work with Oztrail's fridge range? Specifically the 57L one. I feel like it should because it looks very similar to the Companion fridge.
Luke - Grafton, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Luke,
I'm really sorry but we're not able to answer this one. We haven't ranged Oztrail fridges before, so not familiar with their fittings. If you decide to give it a go, let us know how you go. Head to our Return Page for info on getting it back to us if it doesn't work out!

Mycoolman CEP 471 answer
Hey there, what’s the cross session of this cable? Just checking CEP47 manual and it recommends cable cross section 2.5mm for 2.5m cable otherwise damage may occur if it’s undersized: As a guide, from the battery to the appliance follow this guide. Cable cross section mm2 2.5 12v maximum cable length Metre 2.5 24v maximum cable length Metre 5 448 6 6 12 10 10 20
Mahyar - Wollstonecraft, NSW (3 years ago)
G'day Mahyar,
This cable is 2.5mm² & is definitely compatible with Weaco fridges, but as the CEP47 is now discontinued, we cant confirm it will be compatible with that particular myCoolman.

Safe alternative to stock cable1 answer
Hey, I'm wondering if this is a simple plug and play replacement cord for my Waeco cf50? I read this cable doesn't have a fuse but I'm wondering if it is still safe to use? Not too fond of the standard ciggie plug, thanks
Sam - Camberwell(3 years ago)
G'day Sam,
Yep, it is a simple plug and play replacement. Whilst there is no fuse in the cable, there is a fuse inside the input on the actual fridge, so you'll be covered there.

Dometic CFF70DZ compatibility and Fuse Rating1 answer
Will this suit the CFF70DZ fridge? I'm also wondering what size inline fuse I should use for it, during full compressor use (fridge coming down to temp of 2 and -10) it draws around 5A. Would a 10A fuse suffice?
Nate - Corindi Beach, NSW(4 years ago)
G'day Nate,
Yes, this cable should suit the CFF70DZ based on the archived information we have on file. The inline fuse in the standard DC cable is 10A, so this should suffice, however generally when wiring Anderson ports in a vehicle you should use a 50A fuse, as 50A is the standard for Anderson ports.

Kings Fridge 1 answer
Will this cord fit a kings 45L fridge
Bob - Sydney, NSW (4 years ago)
G'day Bob,
It's possible that this cord will fit kings fridges, however as they're a home brand we don't know what type of plugs and specs they've got on their fridges.

OzTrail 45L Fridge1 answer
Will this suit the OzTrail 45L fridge as well?
Dan - Yandina, QLD(4 years ago)
G'day Dan,
We're not familiar with the Oztrail 45L Fridge as they're exclusive to Anaconda. However, looking at the plug it looks similar to the Dometic plug and I'd dare say would work. Best bet would be to double-check with the Anaconda Store you purchased the fridge from first.

Fridge/ Andersen 1 answer
Whilst driving can the fridge be plugged into the Andersen on the drawer bar
Philip - Harrington, NSW(4 years ago)
G'day Philip,
I think we've already been communicating via email, but yes, if your Anderson plug on your drawer bar is a power outlet, and you can safely connect the cable then you could connect your fridge while driving.
