This winter you can wrap yourself up like a warm toasty burrito with the OZtrail Alpine View Jumbo Hooded sleeping bag.
With a hood and flannelette liner, you’ll be extra warm and comfy when you’re in the great outdoors. The Alpine View is made from a non-allergenic fibre that insulates the bag to protect against even the coldest Australian temperatures.
The outer fabric is durable and strong to prevent any rips or snags and the zips have draft tube coverings to prevent any cold air from sneaking in. You can regulate the airflow and temperature by adjusting the zip, plus you can keep the bag nice and snug thanks to the Velcro closure at the top of the bag.

G'day Lisa,
The Alpine View Jumbo Hooded Sleeping Bag has a comfort rating of -7'C, you might be looking for the Alpine View Mega Hooded I think.

Left and right zip?1 answer
Zip left or right is that when you are laying in it as to which side zip is on? Cheers
Tony - Keith(4 years ago)
G'day Tony,
The zipper side is taken when you're lying on your back, so if the zipper starts at your left shoulder that is a left zip, right hand should is a right zip.

Comparison1 answer
Hello, this seems like a really good price. I'm looking at this compared to the oztent rivergum xl. Could you please tell me if you would say this is much better? I know the other has a removable liner but apart from that?
Jenna - Adelaide(4 years ago)
G'day Jenna,
There are a few key differences between these bags. firstly the outer fabric, the Alpine is ripstop polyester, the Rivergum is a ripstop cotton canvas. The canvas will be a harder wearing more durable fabric over time. The second main difference is as you've indicated, the removable liner on the Rivergum, this will keep your sleeping bag nice and clean, and give you a bit more flexibility for different temperatures and climates. Aside from this, they have a similar warranty, fill material and overall size. The Oztrail is a discontinued model so is currently being cleared out, which is why you'll get an extra great deal on that one. Overall we think both bags are good options.

Can these be zipped together?1 answer
Can two of these bags be zipped together same as the Mega Hooded Sleeping Bag?
Dave - Encounter Bay(4 years ago)
G'day Dave,
They sure can, you'll just need to purchase a Left Zipper and a Right Zipper to make this combination work.
