Don't restrict the application of an Oztent Pole to only your Oztent RV - these upright Alloy Poles can be used for any camping shelter application where there's an eyelet to place over the spigot.
Made of durable and lightweight alloy - the Oztent Alloy Pole is available in two sizes, featuring a rounded rubberised foot that's friendly on groundsheets and tent floors. The locking mechanism has a smooth and positive action, and the spigot atop the pole suits most standard eyelets and ridge or spreader poles.
Stand up to caved-in shelters, with the Oztent Alloy Telescopic Poles.

Pole length for peaks in awning1 answer
Do I use the 230cm poles for the peaks in the awning? Or a different size?
Alyce - Prospect, SA (6 months ago)
G'day Alyce,
The 230cm telescopic poles will be the best size poles for the peaked awning sides.

What size pole? 1 answer
What size pole for the rv3 lite front awning? Although judging by the reviews maybe I shouldn’t bother.
Ian - Kiama, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Ian,
The peaked walls of the modular set go to a maximum height of 220 cm, so poles that extend within that ball park will give you a similar look.
Lauren - Snowys(3 years ago)

Yes, the Oztent Alloy Poles are suitable to extend the front wall on your RX5 as an additional awning space.

Internal Pole Diameter 1 answer
Are you able to tell me the internal diameter of the pole once the foot is removed?
Dave - PORT MACQUARIE(5 years ago)
G'day Dave,
I've grabbed the pole but am unable to remove the foot. From what we can measure though, with our callipers is as follows: Outer tube - 2.5cm, Inner tube 2.2cm.

Can this work with a BlackWolf 3001 answer
Hi, Our center awning pole on the canvas Black Wolf tent has given in to the elements - can this one be used instead?
Lea - Diamond Creek(7 years ago)
G'day Lea,
You'll have no worries using the Oztent Alloy Pole for your Black Wolf Turbo 300. I'd suggest you just use the 220cm option.

Samantha - 2291(7 years ago)
G'day Samantha,
Unfortunately, we don't sell these as complete packs, no. You can grab some guy ropes here though, which should help complete the set!

Spec and measurement1 answer
Can I ask what is the the diameter of the front (pin) part of the pole? Thanks.
jack - Baulkham Hills(8 years ago)
G'day Jack,Â
I've just measured one for you downstairs, and I've found that the diameter of the spigot on the Oztent Alloy Pole is 5mm, and the length of the spigot is 4.5cm.Â
Emily - Snowys(8 years ago)
Hello, culd you please tell me the minimum length of this pole. I am looking at using it with the Oztrail Hiking Fly and would be packing it on my motorcycle, so I need it pack down as small as possible. 1 answer
Would this pole suit the eyelets of the Oztrail hiking fly?
Trevor - Melbourne(8 years ago)
G'day Trevor,Â
I've just measured for you and the 190cm Alloy pole is 112cm long (including tip) and the 220cm Alloy Pole is 122cm long (including tip) when not extended.Â
And as for the suitability of these poles with your fly - these poles can be used with the eyelets on the Oztrail Hiking Fly.Â
