Soft for comfort, and extra durable to handle the elements – the Coleman All Terrain XL Single is the air bed you can rely on.
This air bed is made from puncture guard bonded fabric which provides a secure and soft surface to sleep on. This sturdy fabric also allows this mat to support more weight.
The All Terrain is 47% more puncture resistant, 25% more stretch resistant and 30% lighter than a standard Coleman airbed of the same size. The coil construction provides support and comfort, and you won’t have to stress about air escaping its factory tested to be leak free and the valve is dual sealed.
Packing up this mattress is super simple, all you have to do is fold, roll and you can store it away. You also won’t have to buy special sheets, as this mat can be used with standard bed sheets.

Does it have a topside and bottom side, ie is one side more puncture resistant than the other? Or one side better to sleep on?
Col - Twin Waters, QLD(11 months ago)
G'day Col,
Yes the dark grey side is best suited for the top of the mattress and better for sleeping on, the bottom side is the Puncture Guard Laminate material and best on the ground.

Strecher1 answer
Will this mattress fit on the OZtrail Easy Fold Single Jumbo Stretcher?
Kez - New Lambton Heights, NSW (3 years ago)
G'day Kez,
This mattress will be a little too wide for the stretcher, whilst that isn't a problem for self-inflating mat options, it's not suitable for an air mattress. Generally wouldn't recommend an air mattress on a stretcher, but if that is your preference it would be better to find one that fits within the dimensions of the stretcher itself. Hope that helps.

Inflating Question1 answer
How could I decide when to stop inflating?
Eason - St. Ives, TAS(3 years ago)
G'day Eason,
You use your hand to gauge mattress firmness whilst inflating, and stop once it becomes hard enough. Similar to blowing up a balloon, you need to use your best judgement.

Storage1 answer
Would you be able to put this mat in a compression sack? if so what would be the best size? Thanks
Jeff - Adelaide, SA(4 years ago)
G'day Jeff,
You could store this mattress in a compression sack, however, as the fabric isn't compressible you won't get any of the features of a compression sack. You could store it in a Stuff Sac, we'd recommend the Large Size.

Mattress for SUV1 answer
I am wanting a mattress to fit in my rav4 (back seat down). Q: - Would this be the best mattress? Q: Q: - What is the best pump to go with it? I will be getting a 270 deg awning on the car as well. Thanks
Ally - Wangi Wangi, NSW(4 years ago)
G'day Ally,
I'm not too sure how much space you'll have in a RAV4, but as long as the dimensions of the mattress fit then it could be a good option. One thing to consider is that an air mattress might be prone to punctures in the rear of a car, generally, there are lots of things in the back of cars that are fairly sharp and could damage it. We'd recommend looking at some of the mattresses in the self-inflating mattress category as an alternative. In terms of pumps for the air mattress, there are lots of options in manual, powered or re-chargeable that will suit, you can check them out here.

Is there any way to minimise the cold.1 answer
Will a ground sheet or a blanket over the top of the air bed minimise the cold?
warren - carrum downs(5 years ago)
G'day Warren,
It's a tough one to be honest, airbeds are best for spring and summer camping, as the air inside the bed will drop to the same as the air temperature, or even lower if the ground is quite cold. You could try putting a survival blanket or similar under the airbed, and then a blanket or mattress topper on the top, however, this will have limited a limited effect. The best solution is to grab yourself an insulated mat for camping in the cooler months.

Does it pump up using Darche air volution hand pump?1 answer
Have an airvolution 1100 swag
Matt - Darwin(6 years ago)
G'day Matt,
I've just given this a quick whirl for you. The pump from the Darche Air-Volution Swag did work with the Coleman All Terrain XL Single Airbed. It didn't completely seal in the valve but it was near enough that I could get it pumped up.

Is this self inflating? If not what device is needed?1 answer
?
Sarah - Adelaide (7 years ago)
G'day Sarah,
The Coleman All Terrain XL Single Airbed isn't self-inflating, no. If you were wanting to make pumping a little easier then any of the Coleman electric or manual pumps would work a treat.

Will a normal single mattress sheet fit on this airbed?1 answer
Hi - just wondering if a normal single fitted bed sheet would fit on this mattress or would I need to purchase a king single sheet?
Mel - Qld (7 years ago)
G'day Mel,
I'd recommend a king single sheet for the Coleman All Terrain XL Single Airbed.
