If your soirees often turn from an afternoon affair into an all-nighter – then you’re going to need some illumination for when the skies turn dark. The All Night Instant Lighted Shelter from Coleman looks like your average gazebo, but with one very special addition – an LED lighting system.
The LED lighting will provide your evening dos with 450 lumens of light for up to 13.5 hours – which is more than enough for an entire night. You won’t have anyone stumbling over anything in the dark, as the reflective guy lines are included with the shelter which’ll help visibility for you and your guests. Heat won’t get trapped under this shelter, as the vented roof design enables the hot air to escape keeping you cool during those summer nights out under the stars.
The added USB plug means that you can power the LED lights using an optional USB power bank. You’ll be able to lock everything into place easily, with no pinching as the comfort grip technology irons out those issues to make this gazebo that much easier to use. When the weather’s fine, and you’ve got a fridge full of food and bevvies – invite the gang around for a shindig with the help of an All Night Instant Lighted Shelter from Coleman.
I know the unit is adjustable, but any idea on the maximum head clearance of this unit?
G'day Adrian,
Unfortunately, Coleman doesn't provide the maximum internal head clearance. Unfortunately as these are a clearance item I don't have a display model I can measure for you. As far as we know the centre of the sides is about 190cm.
Just wanting to check that this is correct? It seem terribly heavy compared to others in the market of a comparable size/quality.
G'day Nat,
I've double-checked this for you and I can confirm that we've weighed them at 25kg.
Will this gazebo connect to the awning on a Coleman Darkroom 6p lighted tent?
G'day Joel,
Unfortunately not, you won't be able to attach the All Night Shelter to your Darkroom Tent. You can probably use the eyelet loops to secure it to the frame using some rope or bungee cord, but there isn't a direct fit between the two items.
I’m very interested in Coleman gazebo but I don’t know where to buy power pack with dimmer. Thanks
G'day Anniewvie,
The All Night Instant Shelter comes with a battery pack that is designed to take 4 x D-cell batteries, however you can unplug this pack and run the lights from a standard power bank with USB outlets if you'd prefer.
Does the inside of the roof have a silver backing to keep the temperature down please?
G'day Niki,
The Coleman All Night Instant Lighted Shelter is made from 150D Polyester and is an ideal choice your sun shelter needs. The inner canopy does not come lined with an extra coating to keep temperatures down but the vented roof design releases trapped heat to maintain a comfortable temperature within the shelter.
Hi, What is the measurements of the carry bag? Thank you
G'day Leon,
The packed dimensions are shown in the specifications on the product page and are listed as follows: 125cm in length, 27cm in width and 22cm in height.
Coleman Instant up tents say they can attach to Coleman 3x3 gazebo - does that include this model?
G'day Jane,
Unfortunately, the Coleman All Night Instant Lighted Shelter doesn't have the velcro on it and the sides come down differently in the corners which means they're not compatible with the Instant Up awnings.
Hi, is this shelter compatible with Coleman CPX battery packs? Also, does the dimmer work when running off USB power? Thanks.
G'day Reilly,
I've just had a chat with our Coleman rep to confirm, and he's told me that you can use the CPX 6 Rechargeable Battery, but they would recommend that you use the powerpack (which you add separately available D cell batteries to) that comes with this shelter.
He also confirmed that you should be able to use the dimmer switch when running off US power without any trouble.
In the coleman video for this product it shows a dimmer switch for the lighting. Is that included? If sold separately where can i purchase. We do already have a usb power bank but like the dimming concept
G'day Roxanne,
The Lighting Switch on the Coleman All Night Instant Lighted Shelter does come with the shelter as standard.
The older version, so does this one do too?
G'day Jon,
You can grab mesh sides for the Coleman All Night Instant Lighted Shelter separately, here.
I bought this gazebo and would like to put up clear walls for wind protection as the camp site faces open water. What can you suggest?
G'day Charlotte,
The only clear wall we stock is the Oztrail HD & PVC 3m Solid Wall Kit but we're not too confident that it fits well enough. You might need to make some adjustments to the connections if you wanted it to work on your Coleman All Night Instant Lighted Shelter.
I just bought this Gazebo from you and now realised its not water resistant which is such a let down considering the cost. Rather than pack and unpack incase of rain at camp what if I secure a tarp over the top? Wish they designed a raincoat for this product! :-)
G'day Charlotte,
I think the best bet for a tarp over your Coleman All Night Instant Lighted Shetler would be one of the Dura Green Heavy Duty Tarps. I think the 12" x 12" would cover the top of your shelter.
Unfortunately my power pack got crushed and irreparable. Hoping I can get a replacement unit :)
G'day Dan,
I can't see replacement battery packs for the Coleman All Night Shelter on the Coleman pricelist I'm sorry, but the lights can also be run off an external USB battery pack, we have a few available on our website here.
Can you buy a replacement canopy to go over the frame?
G'day Emma,
Depending on availability, we can order canopies as a special order from Coleman. We'd love to help make this happen! If you'd like to look into this further, shoot us an email at service@snowys.com.au or give our Customer Support Team a call on 1300 914 007.
Do you need sand bags on each foot to help wight it down? How strong is the frame in any windy condition?
Hi Vikki,
Most Gazebos are best used in good weather as wind does tend to catch them. A slight breeze would be fine but anything more than that is not recommended. Sand bags would hold it down but this also adds extra tension which may cause damage to the materials. If you think a stronger frame might be better, perhaps have a look at the Oztrail Deluxe gazebo 3x3. (due in stock soon)
Will a powerbank last one night? Two nights?
Hey Paul,
There isn’t any official info about this, but if we had to hazard a guess we would say that as 4 x D cell batteries will provide 13.5 hours of run time, a standard powerbank that has an output of 6600 mAh (for example) should last you around 2 days.
In general it is going to depend on the powerbank you use, and as Coleman haven’t given any specific recommendations about this – we can’t give you a black and white answer, so I do apologise about that Paul.Â
I have seen a few reviews that say that this gazebo does not have taped seams. As a result when it rains, you get wet and worse, the LED lights also get wet. On the Coleman website I note that Coleman Deluxe gazebos specifically state that they have seam sealed fly, but for this product there is no mention.
Howdy Robin,
This particular shelter is a Sun Shelter only. It actually has no waterproof rating at all and according to the manufacturer should not be used in the rain or drizzle as it is soley designed as a Sun Shelter. Unfortunately this does mean that any damage from rain will void the warranty. Cheers!
Thanks, that decides that then. Won't be buying this one.
Do you sell the coleman usb powerbank that powers this shelter?
We don't sorry Kelly, and we are having trouble getting information from our supplier about this, I'm not sure there is actually a Coleman branded one available. It comes with a powerpack for which you need 4 x D Cell batteries for, but you can use any USB power supply to power up the lights. There are tons of these USB power packs on the market now, they just are not something we carry.
