Zempire monstamat1 answer
Is it compatible with zempire monstamat?
Antonia - Chadstone Centre, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Antonia,
No, its not. The Air Stream dry sack is compatible with Sea to Summit and Exped mats only as they use a similar, specialised valve.

leaking bag1 answer
My bag leaks right along the seams; all of them. About 2 years old and stored inside in a coolish environment. Can I get another one or repair this one?
Tony - Coburg, VIC(4 years ago)
G'day Tony,
Sounds like something isn't quite right here. Sea to Summit backs their gear with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, so please head over to our warranty claims page and we'll do our best to get a solution sorted out for you.

Compatible with Nemo1 answer
Is this compatible with the new Nemo Tensor pads?
Dan - Byron(4 years ago)
G'day Dan,
We don't sell Nemo, so it's hard to know, however the Air Stream Dry Sack will suit a 20mm valve which is what a few of the other companies on the market are currently using, so it would be worth checking with Nemo on that.

Exped make a 30mm down to 20 mm adapter, would this make it compatible with all exped mats?1 answer
Exped make a 30mm down to 20 mm adapter, would this make it compatible with all exped mats?
Lee - Sydney(6 years ago)
G'day Lee,
Thanks for the question about the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack. You should be able to use this with any Exped mat with a 20mm valve, or if you have an older mat with the 30mm valve then you should be able to use with the adaptor.

Is there an Exped version1 answer
The description says works for S2S and Exped? My Exped mat has a different plug to my s2s pillow. If not compatible is there an Exped version?
Peter - Eureka(6 years ago)
G'day Peter, this is going to be a long answer sorry, we did a little research and testing. The Exped Schozzel and the Sea To Summit Air Stream Dry Sack are pretty much the same thing. The main exception being that Exped has two different Shnozzel Pumpbags to fit different valve sizes. 30mm is the old valve size and 20mm the new, these measurements are the internal diameter. The Sea To Summit Air Stream Dry Sack is compatible with the 20mm valves, which means it works on all the Exped self-inflating mats such as the SIM and Megamat ranges. It will attach to the pump on the Downmat and Synmat, but it is not overly effective as you have to force air through the built-in pump, the extra pressure required causes the pumpsack to keep popping off. The Exped Schnozzel is hard to come by in Australia, but the Sea To Summit Air Stream is a perfect alternative.

Comfort Plus Insulated Mat fit in?1 answer
Will the Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Insulated Sleeping Mat fit inside this?
Kate - SA(7 years ago)
The Air Stream Pump Sacks are pretty large sacks Kate, you'll easily fit any of the Sea To Summit hiking mats into this, along with a bit of other gear.
They are made of lighter weight material than the regular stuff sacks, so I'd keep the contents of it to soft items such as your mat and some clothing.

Would the BW Micron 220 sleeping bag fit in?1 answer
Or would I be better off with a compression bag for the sleeping bag and use this for something else?
Jan - Bentleigh(7 years ago)
G'day Jan,
For the sake of durability and easier packing, I would recommend getting a compression sack and using the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack for something else. The Air Stream Dry Sack is quite thin and compact and could just be rolled up with the sleeping bag if need be.

Are there different sizes ?1 answer
Will it fit the large insulated ultralight?
Ian - Melbourne(7 years ago)
G'day Ian,
Just the one size in the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry sack. Your Sea to Summit Ultralight Insulated mat will fit no worries.

Is this compatible with Exped SYNMAT valve?2 answers
Is this compatible with Exped SYNMAT valve?
Tim - Braitling(8 years ago)
G'day Tim,
The Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack is not made to be compatible with Exped Mats, so it's not going to fit with the Synmat unfortunately.
Emily - Snowys(8 years ago)
Hi everyone, just to clarify we've tested this out again and it looks like the Air Stream Dry Sack will fit with the Exped mats that have the 20mm size valves. Apologies for the confusion!

SeatoSumit Air Stream Dry Sack1 answer
Hello Snowy, What is the liter capacity of the S2S Air Stream Dry Sack when not used as a pump and just how is it fill with air when it is used as a pump?
Michael - Albury NSW(8 years ago)
G'day Michael,Â
The Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack has a 20-litre capacity, and to fill it with air you just blow into it once and the sack will be inflated.
To get an idea of how many compressions are necessary to inflate a mat, a Sea to Summit mat will take two to three compressions with the Air Stream Dry Sack.Â
