Kick back and brush off those sandy feet in the Aerobase 3 Pro Air Shelter by Zempire. Inflatable air-system tubes, conveniently located external inflation valves, and multiple deflation points promise a swift set-up and pack-down process. Boasting a dome design, the Aerobase 3 Pro resists wild weather and enables maximum performance with lightweight pieces.
Hot enough to boil your beer, the Australian sun can reach scorching temperatures. Thanks to the tent’s expansive internal space, large mesh windows allow exceptional airflow and mediate humidity while inbuilt upper expel vents help to minimise condensation. From still summer haze to breezy evenings, seek shade from the UV-treated Pro-Series fabric, and find security in the stabilising brow poles averting the twists and tugs of wind, with upper vents to prevent lifting. Reinforced crosshatch interwoven stitching prevents your tent from tearing, while its inflatable airframe with dome cross-over poles guarantees a stable, durable construction and a peak height of 2.43m.
For drizzly days and balmy nights by the BBQ, make use of the waterproof window covers and bug-proof mesh to keep your dungeon dry and the beetles out of the burgers. At sundown, make use of glowing zip pullers and a high-vis lantern attachment with a quick-release buckle for easy installation inside the awning. The Zempire Aerobase 3 Pro Air Shelter includes an emergency repair kit, a Pro-Series pump, and a deluxe wall offering windbreak for those post-beach board game sessions or a complete seal for your sanctuary.

Replacement air beam1 answer
If we need a replacement air beam due to unfortunate event (let’s say puncture not covered by warranty), is it possible to get a replacement air beam? I want to check whether spare parts are available before purchasing it. Zempire website shows no online stock is available so wondering where to get it if I ever need one.
John - Denistone, NSW (1 month ago)
G'day John,
Yes you can get replacement air beams from Zempire directly, they are currently out of stock but will be making more. Best to email them directly at info@zempire.com.au for more info and when they expect more stock.

Does it come with zip on wall attachments?1 answer
The subject of the question sums it up, does it come with any wall attachments (as listed in the features and pictures) and if so, how many?
Alexander - Brisbane City, QLD (1 month ago)
G'day Alex,
Yep - it comes with one single sunwall, as pictured. This has a mesh window panel aswell, so you can have it a solid wall, or mesh wall for breeze.

Wind Tolerance1 answer
Just wondering how stable and tolerant this is in windy conditions?
Amber - Adelaide, SA(5 months ago)
G'day Amber,
The air tents or air gazebos are a great option for windy conditions or coastal camping. The inflatable pole structure has a certain level of flexibility that allows for more movement and flow compared to rigid pole structures - think a reed in the wind, versus a tree that snaps. Generally, a pegged out air gazebo combined with some trace springs will be the best combo you can have.

Link for Shelter-to-Shelter1 answer
Is there a link to connect 2 aerobase 3 pro shelters together? If so, which link is it?
Dave - Revesby (9 months ago)
G'day Dave,
At the moment Zempire isn't making a link to connect the Aerobase to another Aerobase selter. Currently, they are all from an Aerobase Shelter to an Air tent.

Overlap?1 answer
Can you overlap this over the top of the pro tents to meet caravan site metre restrictions?
Clint - Gladstone Central, QLD (1 year ago)
G'day Clint,
You wouldn't be able to overlap them as they are about the same height and need to be pegged down properly although you can get them pretty close together. You can link them together to make a weatherproof seal using the Zempire Aerobase Pro Links just need to check what tent you have to find the compatible link.

Difference between Pro version and normal version1 answer
Hi, just wondering what the difference is between the Aerobase 3 Pro and the normal Aerobase 3 shelter. Cheers
Aaron - Blackheath, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Aaron,
They're made of different fabric that has differing waterhead ratings. The Pro is rated to 10000mm, where the standard is rated to 3000mm. 3000mm waterhead rating is generally more than adequate for most Australian conditions, you would consider the pro if you lived in a very high rainfall area, where you would expect to experience prolonged periods of rain, or heavy rain. Hope that helps.

Compatibility 1 answer
Does this shelter connect to any of the zempire tents to act as a hub?
Christopher - Rostrevor, SA (2 years ago)
G'day Christopher,
There used to be a range of Aerobase connectors to suit a variety of different Zempire tents, but they have unfortunately been discontinued. It is a question we get regularly, so I have passed feedback onto Zempire for consideration & hopefully they will have something in the works for the future. You may be able to find some retailers that have the connectors left, or potentially pick one up second hand. The two most common options were the Pro Link, and the Evo Link, depending on what tent you have.

Walls1 answer
Can you leave the walls attached when packing up and down? Thanks
Dwayne - Geelong, VIC (2 years ago)
G'day Dwayne,
We recommend removing the walls for pack up to reduce any unnecessary stress on the zip attachments. The Aerobase shelter also cannot fit into the carry bag with all 4 walls, so we recommend packing them separately.

Pump1 answer
Can you use a small compressor instead of the pump it comes with?
Shelley - Elanora, QLD (3 years ago)
G'day Shelley,
You can, but you will need to track down an appropriate adaptor to use with the Zempire valves - I'm not familiar with these at all, but have heard they may be able to be sourced. Make sure to not leave the air compressor unattended, and ensure the max PSI of the air poles are not exceeded.

Groundsheet1 answer
Do you have a groundsheet in stock that you would recommend?
Dan - Busselton, WA (3 years ago)
G'day Dan,
The Aerobase 3 shelter is 3.5 x 3.5 m, so any groundsheet that fits the closest to those measurements is going to work. The Oztrail Ultramesh Tarp is one of the generic ground mesh options we have, and the 3.65 x 3.65 size would be a great option!
