Would this mattress for into pop up speedy tent 2?1 answer
Would this mattress for into pop up speedy tent 2?
Grace - Melbourne(6 years ago)
G'day Grace,
Theoretically, you could fit a double mattress into the Speedy 2 Pop Up Tent however the curved shape will mean the mattress touches the internal corners. Best option would be the Speedy 3 Pop Up Tent.

Can the pump run off the main - or does it have to be fully charged before use?1 answer
In the case of a surprise overnight guest, can we use the pump attached the powerpoint, or do we have to wait till it is fully charged before it will be able to fully inflate the bed?
Vivian - Melbourne(7 years ago)
G'day Vivian,
You don't need to have the pump fully charged on the AeroBed Active Double Airbed before using it to inflate but you do need to have some level of charge in it before using, even if you are planning on leaving the cable plugged in.

Would this be suited for the Malamoo X-Tra 3P?1 answer
Just looking at buying a tent/airbed together and was wondering if the size would fit OK in the Malamoo (without taking up too much room)
Tom - Ascot Vale(7 years ago)
G'day Tom,
Looking at the dimensions of both the AeroBed Active Double Airbed and the sleeping area of the Malamoo X-Tra 3P tent, you should have no issues getting the mattress to fit. However, there won't be much room left afterwards.

comparison1 answer
how do these compare to the eurobed?
Binita - Alkimos(8 years ago)
G’day Binita,
We’re not familiar with the Eurobed as it’s not a product we sell but from doing some research I can try and give you a bit of comparison. Keep in mind that we have not used the Eurobed so we can’t comment on the quality/functionality, but from what I can see online:
Both have a soft finish surfaceÂ
Eurobed has 240V pump whereas Aerobed uses Rechargeable 240V and 12V pump
Eurobed has weight rating of 250kg, Aerobed is 295kg
Eurobed takes 3 mins to deflate Aerobed takes 60 seconds
Aerobed is 23cm high, Eurobed is 36cm
Both made from PVC
If you were planning on using your airbed camping then the Aerobed may be more suitable as it can be recharged from home or your car, it’s also a better option for the outdoors as it deflates quicker – which is better for touring. It seems that the Eurobed offers a bit more comfort or cushioning so if that’s more important then it may be the better choice for at home use.Â

Hi there, I want to buy 1 queen size and 1 double size air bed. Just wondering whether the pump in this Aerobed is usable for the coleman Dura Sleep Queen Dble-High Airbed. Thank you.
Anjar - ACT(8 years ago)
G'day Anjar,Â
I've just spoken with Coleman and they have told me that unfortunately you can't use the pump from the Aerobed Airbed on the Dura Sleep Airbed as they have a different connection.Â

Looking for a mattress for occasional outings in the tent. How durable is the aerobed? Dont want to get caught out with a cheap air mattress again and end up on the floor. Are the camping mats such as the blackwolf double worth the extra expense? 1 answer
Bruce - Hervey Bay(9 years ago)
Hey Bruce, as with any inflatable product there is always a risk of puncture so a level of care is required in use, but the Aerobed is a good quality product. The benefits of the self -inflating mats such as the Mega Deluxe is the insulation they provide, of which airbeds provide none, and the added benefit in that if they do happen to get a puncture you still have some padding and insulation to sleep on until such time that it can be repaired. I sleep far better on a self inflating mat that an airbed, but there is a larger dollar investment for these.
