I have an old gme red 3100 uhf radio and im seeking a replacement antenna and lead as my current 1 is broken .Wondering if the 970mm AE4018bk1 would suit or what would you recommend .Antenna is bull bar mounted. Thanks

There's no issues with compatibility on this antenna with your old 3100. The 6.6dBi gain on this ariel is a good mid-range option. If you are doing more open road/highway driving an antenna closer to 9dBi will give you a longer, flatter range. If you are doing more dense, hilly driving, a 3dBi would be better suited. This antenna is good if you do both!
