Made for doing it tough, the 60L Single Zone Metal Fridge/Freezer from Companion has the ruggedness you want when you’re heading away from it all and need a self-sufficient setup.
It has a robust metal construction and extra-thick insulation to help keep its power consumption low and your supplies nice and chilled. Using a dual speed LG compressor, choose either 12V or 240V power depending on your needs and relax knowing it’ll only suck an average of 1.1 amp per hour. With a rugged, stylish design similar to a chest freezer, the lid has soft close hinges, and metal clip latches for easy open and closure. Use the strong carry handles as tie-down points and the interior LED light means you’ll no longer have to rummage in the dark. There’s no guesswork if you need to check in on the physics either, with the 3-stage battery monitor and digital display control panel you can see where things are at with a quick and easy glance.
Companion are staking a claim and holding it firmly with their 60L Single Zone Metal Fridge/Freezer, so it’s time to plan your next adventure.

Can you use the fridge without the internal basket to get a bit of extra space?
Joy - Brisbane, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Joy,
The basket creates a bit of an air gap for circulation and also stops things from sticking to the walls in freezer mode. We'd say theoretically you could use it without the basket, but we wouldn't recommend it. It may also lead to damage if things in the fridge knock against the walls.
