Suited for the most popular sized Engel fridge, the MT45 40L Portable Fridge. The heavy-duty steel slide comes with turnbuckles and tie-down brackets so you’re able to attach your unit to this slide. If you’re a regular adventurer, then you’re also able to secure it more permanently by using the included feet screw slots.

This slide is versatile enough to also help you store gear such as iceboxes, cookers and even tool boxes in the back of your 4WD as well.

Hi, will this be able to be bolted on the floor of a standard 200 series Landcruiser wagon?

There are bolt holes for the slide to be mounted on whatever surface you like.
Wether or not you want to bolt through the body of the Landcruiser comes down to a personal preference.
It'd be more common to have a false floor or draw system to fix too.

Will the Engel Combi 45L fridge/freezer with insulated cover on fridge fit on this slide - width doesn't appear to be a problem but length seems slightly short

Yes, the Engel Combi MT-V45FC fridge/freezer will fit on this slide, and can be used while in the insulated cover. The length we list on the fridge includes the handles, which extend beyond the length at the base where the unit attaches to the slide.

Yes, the slide will fit, however, the turnbuckles don't quite fit, so you'll just need to get some smaller, thin ratchet straps and secure them through the slide and handles.

Unfortunately the current Engel turnbuckles aren't large enough to fit over the Eclipse handles. You can still use the Engel 530-540 fridge slide, but you'll just need to get some smaller, thin ratchet straps and secure it through the slide and handles. Be sure not to over tighten them, and you should be right!

is there a specific slide for the Engel eclipse or is there an adaptor kit

Engel used to make an Adaptor Kit for the MR40F, however its no longer available. Unfortunately the current Engel turnbuckles arent large enough to fit over the Eclipse handles. You can absolutely still use the Engel 530-540 fridge slide, but you'll just need to get some smaller, thin ratchet straps and secure it through the slide and handels. Be sure not to over tighten them, and you should be right!

Hello, I'm a bit confused by how to hold this slide in place in the back of a ute. I realise I could screw it in permanently but it's hinted in the description that there is a temporary fix too?

G'day Stan,

Sorry for our slightly confusing description. The Engel 530-540 Slide needs to be screwed into place in the back of your ute. You've then got the option to either temporarily or permanently attach the fridge to the slide, that's where the mention of an option comes in.
