Hand pump1 answer
What small hand pump will fit the valve on these mattresses?
Fernando - Mulgrave, VIC (8 months ago)
G'day Fernando,
We don't currently stock something that will be an exact fit for this valve in a hand pump. The Coleman Manual 5L Bellows Pump you could use you will have to hold it on the valve as it won't be a perfect fit.

G'day Carl,
Yep, the Oztrail 3D Fatmats are fully bonded.

FIT1 answer
I already have this product from Snowy's will it fit in my recent purchased Austrail stretcher tent?
Den - Perth, WA(10 months ago)
G'day Den,
Looking at the measurements this should squeeze in lengthways and you'll have a bit extra room on the sides!

Similar but narrower options?1 answer
Hi, We have an RV5 tent which we love. We currently have two Oztrail fatmat lites but given we're a family of 4 we know we need two narrower options for the kids (7&9). We'd appreciate any suggestions of a mat as comfortable as these but slightly narrower so we can have 4 mats in the RV5. Happy to consider 4 new mats or 2 new mats that will fit alongside the two fatmat Lite that we already have. Thanks in advance! Jess
Jess - Melbourne, VIC(12 months ago)
G'day Jess,
Fitting 4 mats with a 10cm thickness can be really challenging. Mats of this style are designed for car camping, so size and weigh considerations arent really a factor. You'll have a better range of options looking at Hiking Mats, but you sacrifice the thickness for the smaller overall size. The Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe is the narrowest mat we have in this category, and whilst its a close shave, 4 mats should fit in the RV5 without issues.

Fitting1 answer
Will this work on my Coleman big sky regular or my oztent stretcher or would the springs on coleman or edges of the oztent stretcher rip the underside fabric.
Den - Perth, WA(2 years ago)
G'day Den,
A self inflating mat & stretcher combo is probably one of the most common sleep systems you'll find amongst campers. Whilst there's no issues using this mat with a stretcher, I'm not 100% sure on the Big Sky bed - we've not heard much feedback on these. I can't see there being a problem really, the only consideration would be if the springs on the edge pinched the mattress fabric. It's not a big deal with the original foam mat, but if you catch a self-inflating mat & it tears, you'll need to patch it up. If you do use if with your Big Sky Bed, just be mindful of that. Hope that helps.

Fatmat lite with OZtrail Easy Fold Single Stretcher1 answer
How well does the 3D Fatmat Lite fit with the OZtrail Easy Fold Single Stretcher? Is it a good combination for stretcher/mattress? Thanks :)
Michelle - Devonport, TAS(3 years ago)
G'day Michelle,
Yes, the Fatmat Lite and the Easy Fold Single Stretcher are a great combination. The mat is a little narrower than the stretcher, however, this won't be a worry.

Additional Air1 answer
Does the valve allow you to blow in some extra air to make it firmer, like the red comfort bonded mattresses do, or is this not necessary because the memory foam expands enough to make it firm?
Richard - Quindalup, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Richard,
Yes, you can add additional air if you require a firmer mattress, but you need to do that manually and not with an electric pump. Any over-inflation can tear the bonding between external fabric and foam, so manually pumping it in will ensure that doesn't happen.
