I run Lithium batteries, can this plug into the anderson lead that usually attaches the DCDC charger in the caravan to the car battery/alternator to provide additional charge to my batteries? My system will currently receive charge from existing solar and DCDC at the same time?
G'day Michael,
As long as your DCDC charger is solar compatible, you shouldn't have any issues.
If you're not sure, double check your product manual for the charger, it will have that info listed.
Hi, I have read the open dimensions at 143cmx143cm. Can you please confirm the open dimension is correct? (The array is 4 panels by 3 panels. Closed dimensions 51x48cm and if I calculate the smallest folded dimension 48 x 4 equals 192cm long approximately?)
G'day Michael,
Our Team have measured this in-store!
Closed it is 49 x 36 x 11cm (Not including the handle)
Open it is 141 x 141cm (if you include the flap it is 157cm)
Hi, I would probably only use this blanket once or twice a year as my current set up is fine for a one to two day stop. I usually travel/tour without longer stops at any single location. The Croc Skin might be tougher than I need, and I'm hoping this is "tough enough".
G'day Alan,
These solar panels used to be known as being part of Hard Korrs 'lifestyle' range, to suit the occasional camper or people who don't need a more heavy-duty option.
The current model is a very recent release in this 300W, hence why we do not have any product reviews just yet, but these have historically been really popular.
A good mate of mine has had his 200W versions for nearly 4 years now without issues.
The only real difference is the croc skins can prop up at 45° as a row, where as these panels can go across your bonnet or roof, laid out flat on the ground, or even hung on the side of your car from the roof racks.
Hope that helps!
