Hi Snowys, I have one of your CR110 Fridges that is powered from either 12V and 240V. Can you confirm that when power is available/supplied through the 240v input that the fridge will prioritise this over the 12v connection or will I have to manually disconnect it?

G'day Jack,

Yes, generally with all appliances that allow simultaneous 12v & 240V connections, the 240V will be given the preference. You won't need to unplug from your 12v source.

The Engel MR40F will need the Engel Type K 240V Fridge Cord. The Dometic 240V Fridge Cable looks the same to me, but we'd probably suggest sticking to the correctly branded cable just in case there are ever any warranty issues with your fridge, as the first thing they tend to ask is if the cables are genuine Engel.

Cf18 fridge/freezer1 answer

I have just purchased a CF18 portable fridge/freezer on line from snowys. The outlet on the side is clearly a 12-24v ; is there a 240v cable to plug into mains power !?. 240v power cable !? The out let on the CF18 . BCF shops cable is not compatible.

The Dometic CF-18 does not have straight 240V charging compatibility, you will need to use an adapter/inverter which you can find HERE

thanks for getting in touch, I'm a little confused about which fridge you have as this cable should suit the CF-80. The two prong style with the guide in it is the 12V cable for the CF-80, is that what you're looking for?
