Power loss?1 answer
If you add extension leads between the solar panels and the battery, is there power loss or loss in efficiency?
Franco - Horsley(6 years ago)
G'day Franco,
The short answer is yes. Basically, the longer the extension lead, the more you'll lose. The same applies between the regulator and the battery. Generally you want as short and as thick a cable as you can get away with. Give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 if you have any other questions, and we can talk through your specific set up.
