If you’re a beginner looking to illuminate your campsite, or you have a compact set up and don't need to floodlight a footy stadium, then the 2 Bar LED 3 Colour Camp Light Kit from Hard Korr is perfect.
This kit contains two 50cm super bright light bars which provide cool white, warm white and orange lighting options. It’s got a removable diffuser for a wider and more pleasant light beam and an extrusion profile creates extra strength, while the removable end caps hide the wiring for flush mounting. You can leave the lights on all night as they consume a low amount of power with minimal heat output, and they’re IP68 rated so they’re completely watertight.
Setting these bars up is a breeze, as there are inbuilt magnets for attachment to metal surfaces, and removable pole clips for tent poles. The 2 Bar LED 3 Colour Camp Light Kit from Hard Korr is perfect for brightening up a canopy, toolbox, or smaller setup.

can I use the Hard Korr 36W 240V to 12V Transformer with this setup?
G'day Vicki,
Yes this will work well with the Hard Korr 36W 240V to 12V Transformer, this can power up to a 6-bar light kit so this will provide enough power for the 2-bar light kit to connect to a 240V powerpoint.
Am I able to purchase a second case to store all my cables and lights in. I'm running out of room
G'day Helen,
Unfortunately not. It would be great, and it's a common request, so I have emailed Hard Korr and passed the feedback on.
Hard Korr has advised their kits come complete from the manufacturer, so they don't even get spare cases on the odd occasion.
Hopefully, it will be something they consider for the future!
Can the case for more than the 2 light Bars. I have a set of additional 4 bars and wondering if the case would fit the 6 bars
G'day Justin,
You'd get away with fitting maybe 2 more, but definitely not 4 extras unfortunately!
Hey guys this looks the goods although what would you suggest to do with the cord coming out of the end of the second bar that is not being connected to anything. Is there a plug to enclose?
G'day Mick,
All of the Hard Korr LED bars have an outlet plug so that extra lights can be added as needed. If you're not wanting to add another bar, then we'd recommend tucking the plug away behind the light bar (depending on how you attach/mount them). There are no cap attachments available for these outlet plugs.
Just wondering if it would be easy to permanently fix the lights to my ute canopy doors? Do the have screw holes or fixing points? Can I mount the dimmer and switch also? Thank you!
G'day Matthew,
You can absolutely permanently mount the 2 Bar LED 3 Colour Camp Light Kit into your canopy but there are no fixing options for this provided, you'll have to look at a DIY solution for that. If you want to hardwire it in you can, Hard Korr just ask that you do that from the black connection cable side, not the orange connection side. Hope that makes sense.
I recently bought this dual light bar pack and they worked a treat. I’m keen to add some more lights though. Do I need to buy another whole kit or can I purchase single 3 colour light bars? Not keen on adding the Lifestyle light bars as I would like to keep them all the same.
G'day Paul,
Yes, you can add extra bars into this system with no worries. The orange/white bars will suit, as the new 3 colour dimmer is the key piece in the puzzle to get the warm white colour. The 25cm bars come with no extra cables, while the 48cm bars and 100cm bars come with extra cables and dimmer switches.
Roughly how long can i run 2 white bars on low without compromising my car battery
G'day Helen,
There aren't any hard and fast rules here, as it will depend on your vehicle's battery age, capacity, and setup of the car. I'm not a mechanic or auto-electrician, but I believe most vehicles need at least 75% battery capacity to start. The 2 bar kit will draw approximately 0.6A per hour, so you'd need to determine your cars battery capacity and work backwards from there for an estimate.
Wanted to plug the kit directly into a merit outlet on a camper trailor.
G'day Stephen,
Yes absolutely, you can remove the end red cap and you have a merit plug all ready to use with your merit outlet.
Can you recommend a power pack to suit this light with a USB charging port for phone/tablets? We don’t have a fridge that we need to run.
G'day Jess,
These lights are designed to run from a 12V cigarette plug so you'll either need to plug them into your vehicle accessory outlet, or purchase a separate 12V battery. The Companion Portable Power Pack has USB outlets too, however it might be a little over the top for just the lights and phones.
Can the single 100 cm led orange/ white light fit to this 2 bar light kit
As long as you stick with the Korr brand, you can chain lots of these together, Gene. There does become a point at which there are too many and performance is affected, but you shouldn't reach this point until you have about 6 light bars in the system.
In other words, I assume they run off the one cord (with or without the extension), or is there a splitter? When the dimmer is activated, it acts on both lights?
G'day Cath,
I've just called Korr to clarify and they've indicated that to run the two bars independently (i.e. one orange and one white) you would need two dimmers. He said the best value way to do that would be to go for the 4 Bar Orange/White Kit. If you're wanting to run both bars on the 2 Bar Orange/White Kit on the same colour you'll be able to do so on the one dimmer. Hopefully, that clarifies it for you. Let me know if not and maybe we can speak on the phone.
Thanks Leece. With the 2 Bar, can one light be white and the other orange?
G'day Cath,
You can run one bar orange and one bar white but you'd need to add a white bar to your setup before the dimmer then place the dimmer between the two.
