How cute is this?! Rovin’s 12V Portable Ceiling Fan with Cigarette Plug works just like a normal ceiling fan except it’s a mini-me version so you can take it with you when camping and caravanning.
A Phillips head screwdriver is all you need to attach the three plastic blades to the motor body, then find a safe spot to hang it and secure the 3-metre lead away from the blades before you plug it into a cigarette lighter outlet. Now here’s a couple of obvious things to note... hang the fan well above the head-height of your tallest crew member because although the blades have a bit of flex to them and are unlikely to cause serious damage, no one wants to cop one in the head! While we’re talking safety, ensure the fan is mounted away from kids and objects as well. With all that done, this fan will happily pump out some decent breeze to keep you and your small group comfortable.
Along with a removable rubber grommet for hanging support, the 12V Portable Ceiling Fan from Rovin also has an easy on/off switch so you can control it without interfering with the power plug.

Noisy?? 1 answer
Hi Does the fan make much of a noise?
Warren - North Shore, NSW (12 months ago)
G'day Warren,
I have heard one of these running myself and they make a quiet whirring sound from the motor but that isn't very loud.

Pack-able?1 answer
Great idea, but could be quite hard to pack to avoid damage...are the centre "stalk" or blades designed to fold away somehow?
Stu - Albury, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Stu,
No, theyre not. This fan is designed with a caravan awning or annex in mind, so most people just chuck it on the bed between stops or trips. If you are needing to pack away long term, the blades can be removed for storage.

Only cigaret lighter socket?1 answer
Does it come with USB or is it just the cigaret lighter socket? This would be excellent to hooked to portable power bank
Tomas - Seddon West, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Tomas,
Only the 12v Cigarette plug. USB outlets are rated to 5V and often no more than 1.5ish amps which isn't enough to power this fan.
